This place was amazing. The atmosphere was great. The service was awesome! The girls were even singing! I loved it.
The food was fantastic too, definitely recommend the BBQ shrimp and voodoo pasta! Some of the best voodoo sauce i've ever had!
UPDATE: We went back to see if it was a fluke. . . And it was even better than the first time! 100% recommend!

My mom and I are visiting Anniston and we are so glad we checked this place out. Our server Cindy was amazing. She was very kind, helpful and you can tell she really cares about her customers. We looooved the garlic and olive oil with the bread that was brought for a starter. If you like garlic it's magical. Both of our meals were delicious. I got the mushroom ravioli with Alfredo sauce and my mom loved her pasta. We both had a delicious glass of wine. We definitely recommend this place.

The food and service were great! Rose made the best dirty martini ? she was very attentive and outgoing.

The food was delicious, we started with the fried mozzarella and a side of cesar salad. For entrees we got 2 chefs specials, the New Orleans Snapper and the Scallop Scampi and were impressed with both! Would highly recommend. My favorite was the fried mozzarella!

Everything was delicious: spaghetti & meatballs, chicken picatta, shrimp appetizer... Offered local beers. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice place to enjoy a lunch or dinner with friends & family.

So so so good! They start you off with delicious bread and a garlic/oil mixture to dip the bread in. The bread tastes homemade. Every dish we ordered was (and always is) delicious. We will definitely be back. We ordered: voodoo pasta, lasagna and spaghetti. Server was super nice and attentive. Also, small detail, but the sweet tea was perfect! We loved everything.

They are wonderful they are very friendly. And respectful best service I’ve ever had anywhere. The food was amazing and also didn’t take long at all. Overall I would 100% recommend coming here

The number of times I’ve enjoyed pasta made by someone other than me are virtually nonexistent. The kitchen staff at Effina’s deserve all the praise they receive. The food is properly seasoned and carefully prepared.

I highly recommend the “Voodoo Pasta,” better than anything I’ve had in NYC/Italy and anywhere else. If you are looking for something for a little less carb content the ribeye is perfectly seasoned.

The prices are appropriate, staff friendly, and atmosphere reflects much of the southern renaissance felt throughout the downtown Anniston area.

We stopped in for dinner. It was late I had steak. It was way undercooked and all of the plate was extremely salty to the point that it was almost not edible. The staff, however, was fantastic very attentive, but the food itself was just absolutely a disappointment more than half to steak was gristle on top of being undercooked and seasoned, and it was also expensive. I don’t mind things being expensive if you get value for what it is, but this was not a very good experience but again I will go back to that. The staff was amazing or at least the front of the house the kitchen staff might have just been having a bad night or they might’ve been just over it for the day , super disappointed
