The new manager AJ and family have taken over this motel and it has changed from Days Inn to Econo Lodge and have put a lot of effort into making it a very nice place. My group and I stopped there Apr 11 and the rooms were clean, comfortable with new sheets, towels, etc. Breakfast was available and lots of it. I would recommend this motel.

Under new management and they are doing a great job. I’ve been staying at this hotel for the last 2 years off and on. They have breakfast from 5-9 AM. AJ is the general manager and he is doing a wonderful job at making this hotel the best stay as possible for customers. They also have a swimming pool and a washer and dryer, and vending machines. The beds are comfortable and the new pillows are amazing. Very clean!

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in! We only stopped to sleep before finishing our drive paid $95 for 6 hrs!! The bath tub has absolutely no grip the mats were removed I have pictures where you can see this. My 54 year old husband tried to shower and slipped because of this! He hit his head on the toilet and hurt his shoulder and probably now has a broken finger! Thank God it wasn't worse!!

All I'm going to say is that you get what you pay for. Check-in was great, the young lady at the front desk was helpful and very professional. Check-in was a breeze, but the rooms is another thing. Dirty sheets, rooms are falling apart, just go somewhere else, pay the extra 100 bucks and stay at a nicer place, we were only here for an overnight stay.

Hotel has a foul odour to it. Right when you walk in (lobby and hallway) and especially in the rooms. A heavy stench of mix between smoke and cleaning products. Made it very hard to breathe. Hotel advertised that they had a pool and of course the pool was closed for maintenance. A big let down to my kids. Half of the breakfast stuff was broken and wasn’t much selection at all. The blankets are thinner than the sheets and very uncomfortable beds.

So much nicer than before! They are in the middle of renovating but so far new linens and pillows, everything was very well cleaned. Friendly front desk service. I can’t wait to see it when it is completed but so far so good ! Oh and they are doing waffles now & will be serving hot breakfast soon

Econo Lodge Mt. Hope is a fantastic new property that just opened in January 2025 under excellent new management! Everything feels fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is warm and attentive, and the location is convenient yet peaceful. Easily one of the best stays I’ve had—highly recommend!

This is the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. My bedding hadnt been changed and there was makeup and fluid stains on the bedding. There were questionable stains on the couch and desk chair in the room. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. The desk clerk was rude and had A BABY at work. Staff was rude and did not want to assist in fixing issues. I understand that “you get what you pay for” but the least I expect is a clean bed and room to sleep in… NOT HERE! Run don’t walk away from this dump…
