Econo Lodge is a good value. The hotel may not look like much on the outside, but the rooms are nice. The room we stayed needed a little work (lampshades could be replaced, some peeling wall paper in bathroom, shower was slightly warm). The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice. The breakfast was small, which was fine for my wife and I. They only had milk, sunny D, yogurt, cereal, and nutri grain bars. It was a good place to stay when we were on vacation.

I gave one star to the kindness of the front desk gentleman and one star for the breakfast bar.
You do not want to take your shoes off in these rooms. Whoever they have housekeeping does not sweep or mop. There was someone’s nasty toe nail laying on the floor, dead bugs everywhere, my dad was killing ants scattered throughout the bathroom, I dared not take a shower this morning. There’s black mold all throughout the ceiling. The bottom of the door looked like it was kicked in at one point. This place badly needs renovations. It’s falling apart and it smells awful. My dad is disabled with a tracheotomy and he had to inhale this dirty place. They keep the breakfast area nice and clean though and the gentleman was nice enough to change our bedding once I reported the filth that was on the bedspread and the sheets. If you’re to stay here, just be cautious and I definitely recommend sanitizing yourself afterward. Oh and be sure to change your sheets before crawling into bed, before something crawls on you instead.

I don't normally do reviews, but this was just ridiculous! They come into the rooms, but won't do anything but take the trash. They fought with me to give me a fresh towel, saying I had a do not disturb sign so I don't get one. Not once in the week I was there did they give me clean linens, they never put more than a half a bag of coffee in their breakfast, and speaking of their breakfast, 4 nutragrain bars, (5) 1" round cinnamon rolls and some cookies. No drinks. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ONLY NEED 1 OR 2 NIGHTS TO SLEEP

This is a no-frills, beat-up old motel. When I was working construction and traveling, it was the kind of place that I looked for, because it was cheap, comfortable enough, clean enough, and I didn't need much more. And frankly, when we stayed here, the majority of the other guests were construction guys, to judge by the trucks in the parking lot. The service at the front desk was excellent. I went upstairs to my room, and while there was some trash on the steps and the landing, once I got to the room, it was fine. The room had laminate floors, the wall paper was patched in spots, but it was clean and neat. Everything worked. You really don't need much more than this if you need a quick, quiet stay in Huntington.

This is a very good hotel. The desk clerk was friendly. We got a smoking room, but it didn't stink. It was nice and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and I'm pretty fussy about that. Overall, it could use updating, but only for cosmetic reasons. Everything was functional. On a Saturday night, the final price with military discount was just under $80. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Mostly nice room, good comfortable bed. Doors aren't well insulated so lots of noise from other tenants. Nice staff offered me towel to dry my motorcycle seat due to rain.

Filthy, old toe nail clippings and Dirty floors
Looked like the floors hadn't been mopped or cleaned for at least a month.
There was holes pitched with masking tape.
Had I any other opportunity to change location , I most surely would have done so
I do NOT recommend staying here, no matter the price!
