5 Star - Off Grid accommodations. No electricity in the cabins, but solar power lights them. The cabins are weather tight, clean, and my bed was very comfortable.

I recommend their food. Mark is a mean cook and baker. The steak was delicious and the pie was to die for.

The best part of the Eco Park Resort is Mark and his wife. Truly great people. Hospitality you don't experience in business anymore. Thanks you guys very much for a great stay!

I love this place. Make your reservations as it is very busy. The proprietor Mark Smith and his wife are wonderful people, and all who help him run the resort. Great place to chill out and take in nature. Ride your bike or fish. Have a Weyerhaeuser St. Helens tree farm recreation permit? This place is centrally located surrounded by the St. Helens tree farm. A zillion roads all around you and Mt. St. Helens is just up the road. I have stayed here and loved it. I will be back next season. Check out Mark, James, Johnny and the rest of the fellas. Mark is a pretty good cook too. Try the sampler breakfast or the Elk steak when available.

Excellent location for base camp when hiking at north side of Mt. St. Helens. Accommodations are rustic. Bathrooms are clean, well-lighted, with excellent hot water. Very tasty "Fruit of the Forest" pie for dessert.

We had a great family stay here in 3 of the cabins, and Mark the owner was so friendly and accommodating, as well as the other staff. The dinner and breakfast at the cafe were very good and so convenient. It was a short drive to all of the Mount St. Helens lookouts and attractions. I think people need to just keep in mind that this is more like camping, and if you want climate control and more amenities you should look elsewhere. That being said there are heaters in the cabins (although it was warm when we went so didnt need them) and shared facilities with shower and bathroom that are kept in good shape.

My family spent two nights here while visiting Mt. St. Helens. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with solar-powered overhead light and propane heat. We had a porch swing and view into the woods. The bathroom was close by, also clean, and lots of hot water. We ate breakfast and dinner there, both very good, and the home-made pie was outstanding. Best of all, Mark had lot to tell us about the history of the mountain and the local politics surrounding restoration. A wonderful visit.

My husband was skeptical at first prior to checking in. Daughter was protesting about not having electricity. However, after settling in our roomy cabin and having warm showers, everyone was appreciative of the quiet, relaxing place to stay in after an all-day hike. There's plenty of rooms between cabins so there's a lot of privacy. Toilets were clean and the water pressure was great. Surprisingly, hardly noticed any bugs. I have never met anyone as hardworking as Mark and James. They run the place so smoothly and they were such warm and accommodating hosts. And they can cook! Don't be discouraged if you're call is not answered or returned immediately. These guys are hard at work tending to their guests. They are great with answering emails though. ||The price is worth it. My husband left with great respect for these guys. Highly recommended!

We spent last night here in cabin 4 with our 5 month old and it was amazing. Very peaceful. The cabin was very nice, clean and warm. The back porch leading to a meadow with a swing was great for this morning. The bathrooms were nice and close, we drove each time to the main lodge portion (5 month olds can be heavy!) And the place itself was a great location to mount st helens. A great base point for photographers (we went for sunset/star trails). My only complaint has nothing to do with the resort but the punk teenagers that drag race on the highway next to it at midnight till 3 am. We heard them very loud and kept waiting to hear a car accident. Otherwise this place is perfect! Don't let the gate fool you, it looks closed but the owners are very sweet and welcoming!

Last summer we reserved a fabulous weekend at Eco Park Resort. This facility is closed to off road traffic...Very Private! We loved that feature that it was so private! We received everything we reserved. This is a fantastic Resort. Our cabin was cozy and wonderful.||The owners are very accommodating! This is a small family business with the owners doing everything! You will see them everywhere at the Resort. Our dinner and breakfast was fantastic! Wonderful home cooking! The horseback tour was great! I rode Barney and my wife rode Joe. Both good horses and the scenery was breathtaking. You get what you reserve.
