The RV park is in a good location on the edge of town, making for an easy stroll to the shops and harbour. I stayed in the deluxe cabin (or "The Shack") which has a bedroom with a double bed, small kitchen and bathroom. The facilities provided were quite basic for the price, which is expensive. The kitchen provides enough for self-catering without being over-endowed with utensils. The bed is satisfactory but the pillows were terrible - they had hardly any filling. The TVs are good (there is one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom) and the bathroom was OK with a strong, hot shower. The cabin was warm at night with good heating. The wi-fi was non-existent most of the time, and dropped out regularly - disappointing for the price paid. If the cabin had been half the price paid I would have been happy to write a better review.

My wife and I recently spent three nights tent camping at Eagles Rest RV Park, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we drove in, we felt discriminated against by the park employees who patrolled the grounds on golf carts. Despite adhering to all park policies, we were constantly interrupted by staff every couple of hours, who felt the need to remind us of the rules—rules we were not breaking.
It's my belief that we were singled out because we were younger than most of the other guests, who were predominantly retired RV owners. Additionally, being one of the few tent campers in a park primarily filled with over 100 mobile homes and expensive towable RVs, and having a small dog with us, seemed to draw undue attention.
One employee named Rick was particularly intrusive, repeatedly interrupting our stay to inform us that our dog could not be on the grass. This happened multiple times, even though our dog was never once on the grass. His constant harassment made our stay extremely uncomfortable and disrupted our ability to relax and enjoy our camping experience.
In conclusion, our experience at Eagles Rest RV Park was marred by what we perceived as discriminatory treatment. The repeated disturbances and unwarranted scrutiny of our small dog left us feeling unwelcome and regretting our decision to camp there. We cannot recommend this park to fellow tent campers, especially those traveling with pets.

Ok, RV park barely open for the season and Valdez had a metric tonne of snow, so management is still digging out, and getting going. Great place to stay within walking distance of everything. We came for the fly in May 9-13 and couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to the owners for being accommodating this early in the season. Wait, What?! Only five stars?! Where are the rest of them. Should be 10.

RV site parking behind some containers . Dog poo at near picnic table. Very expensive compared to Bear Paw RV park, 30 dollars more per night. Wanted to leave site as soon as possible. Felt like inside a container site.

The owners and staff go out of their way to help their guests have the very best experience. Quality is key to everything done. The park is super clean, updated every year and safe. One of the best we have stayed at for sure. The rates are more than fair for the value received.

Location is good because you can walk to the harbor, restaurants and stores within minutes. However, the main road is loud and annoying. Great staff.

The site we were assigned to was on a main road in the park with a lot of dust created when everyone drove by. We were also right next to the RV dump station which created a smelly disturbance. The electrical hook up sometimes worked, sometimes not. Not a big fan of this rv park.

This is a large (200 +/- sites) Campground on the edge of town. We were warmly greeted and escorted to our site. There is enough variety of spots for most travelers from tent sites (grass) to modest cabins and everything in between. Some of the sites are populated by folks that live there but unlike many places the RVs were well maintained and presentable. The mostly level gravel sites are off gravel access roads with convenient hookups that functioned properly. Good cable tv, their included WiFi was good always providing a signal that was useful, Verizon cell service was good. Their laundry room was clean and most of the machines were operable.
