We spent our anniversary at Drumming Woods and had a wonderful time. The hosts were so friendly and kind. The breakfasts were phenomenal! We stayed in The Nest which is separate from the main house. The setting is so quiet and peaceful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when we need to unplug from our daily lives. Thank You!

I really enjoyed my time here. The couple who hosted us was super sweet and even joined me and my teammates in our activities in the home. It was also just a beautiful home. The only thing I would state would be the wifi is sometimes iffy but that’s due to it being in the middle of the woods. They have a super cute dog named Lena who loves to cuddle up with you.

Was here for a Nordic trip with my team and it was an amazing experience. Jerry and Jan were not only amazing to talk but also just being around them was great. The food was also one of the best parts especially after skiing for hours and coming back to an amazing home cooked meal. I would love to come back.

This was our first time staying at Drumming Woods B&B. The hosts, Jan and Jerry, are a warm, gracious and friendly couple. They made our stay with them a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The accommodations are very beautiful and clean, warm and cozy. Their peaceful north woods location can’t be beat...at the same time so convenient to x-country ski, snow shoe, snowmobile and fat tire bike trails. Jan’s breakfasts were delicious and served to fit into our schedule...not to mention coffee was always hot and ready for us each morning! Sharing great conversation at the breakfast table and in the evenings in front of the fireplace made us feel so welcomed. This was exactly what we were looking for — the perfect quiet and relaxing winter weekend get-away destination. So happy we found you. We will be back!

We stayed here for a few days this summer and it was amazing! Jerry and Jan were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was always incredible and there was coffee and water out for us all day! It is so relaxing and quaint, while also giving you easy access to skiing and mountain biking. Very cool place. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful bed and breakfast in Cable, WI, that's only 20 miles from Hayward. Modern home that still maintains that cabin getaway feel. It's on a very private lot with good acreage in the woods. Lots of wildlife and breathtaking scenery, and they also have a huge jacuzzi tub on their deck. The pictures really don't do it justice; it's a fantastic place to stay at a very reasonable price.
Jerry and Jan are great hosts, and the breakfasts were top notch too.
Bottom line, if you're looking for a good bed and breakfast anywhere near the area, this is absolutely the place to stay.

For cross country skiers it does not get much better than this. Like the Winterfell Castle (for you game of thrones fans), it has a court yard (really a snow-covered garden), large great room for dining and socializing, nice bedrooms with antique-like furniture, and the basement is fully finished and furnished with additional bedrooms, family room and kitchen. This place will host a large family/group easily. The house is clean and the hosts (Jan and Jerry) are friendly, informative, helpful, and easy going. ||I have stayed here three times in the last two ski seasons and for cross country skiing on the Birkie trail, I don't think it can get better. The trail is 60 seconds of skiing away from their front door, past the chicken coop and through the woods - you can ski for hours then return, take a rinse in the shower and soak in the outdoor hot-tub to relax those worked muscles. ||The breakfasts were excellent and filling. The night before Jan made some appetizers which was needed after skiing and before dinner out. All in all, Drumming woods is a great place to chill out away from everything, and a fantastic location to the Birkie trail. I would recommend this to anyone.

We stayed at Drumming Woods because we had a wedding in town to attend. When we arrived the home was clean and welcoming. We were greeted at the door and loved the house pups. They have a chicken coop. The home is gorgeous. With a wilderness, ski, Colorado theme throughout. Comfy beds, clean rooms, the bathrooms had everything you could need. Large common area space. Free WiFi. Great photo taking opportunities. ||The next morning we woke to smells of a delicious home made breakfast. The dining table was set and had perfectly plated individual quiches, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, banana bread, homemade jam and conversations. The owners are sweet, inviting and kind! We felt right at home. ||||Thank you for the stay! I would recommend anyone to stay there if you want to have a great time. Can’t wait to come back.
