Everyone of the staff we came in contact with seemed to genuinely love their job! Each one was so kind and helpful. When we first got to our room they felt it wasn't 100% perfect so they sent us cookies for our kids and a little extra treat. Trust me when I say it was nothing & we would not have thought twice about it, but they wanted everything to be perfect. What a refreshing experience! Wish more businesses took care of their customers like you do! Thank you for a great stay!

I actually went to the Dream Inn for business, but my wife tagged along when she saw I was staying on the beach. I think this is the only hotel in Santa Cruz with beach access and what a location - next to the wharf and the Boardwalk and right at the beginning of that absolutely lovely West Cliff Drive walk. I just can't get enough of that absolutely world-class coastline - surfers, seals, otters, sailboats, sunsets, a dog beach and two natural parks - it's awesome.||Back to the hotel - they lean into the beach decor quite a bit and really works for them - it's not over-board in my opinion, but a theme none-the-less. The rooms were as expected (comfortable and well-arranged) and I won't ruin the beach surprise but it made enjoying our coffee on the balcony a little bit better. We had some room service appetizers - pretty tasty and it really made us want to try to restaurant. One other thing - I usually don't read the stuff in the room, but they did a good job on the one pager with all the hotel info and included some Santa Cruz factoids, too. I noticed it.||Finally, I travel a bit but I always appreciate good service. The valet welcome/exit was engaging and the front desk was engaging *every* time I walked by. I love that and that makes a difference - I'll be back.

It’s clear that the staff at The Dream Inn goes above and beyond to make every guest feel valued.

Our room was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. We even fell asleep to the soothing sound of the waves crashing nearby—such a peaceful and calming experience!

The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring we had everything we needed. We had an incredible room service experience, and the food was delicious, delivered promptly, and with a personal touch.

Overall, The Dream Inn lives up to its name. It’s a dreamy escape where every detail is carefully thought out. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway!

This was a lovely hotel. The staff was friendly. The beach was well maintained, as was the pool. The room was clean. My favorite part was laying in bed listening to the seals. I am a celiac and I sincerely appreciate the delicious high-end gluten-free food.

I just returned from the "Radiant Rising Wellness Weekend" at the Dream Inn and feel amazing! I've stayed at the Dream Inn many times and this special event did not disappoint. The weekend was a sampler of wonderful wellness activities such as a yoga class, sound bath, body scrub making class, breath workshop, and meditation sessions. All of the teachers/instructors were excellent and perfect for someone new to this type of wellness work. I appreciate the variety of activities and felt there was a good balance of sessions and downtime to enjoy the hotel and beach. Despite our smaller group, the Dream Inn went over the top with amazing meals, goodies in our rooms, and staff supporting each of our activities. The communication through the event was excellent and I felt both relaxed and energized by the end of the weekend. Thank you Dream Inn! Can't wait to come back for your next wellness event!

This place is so special to me! I’ve stayed here for many special occasions and most recently for my birthday last weekend. I was looking forward to ordering a lava flow from the pool bar but it was closed due to the weather. Jacob surprised us and brought out a round of lava flows during my birthday dinner at the hotel restaurant which was so special to us! All staff were gracious and accommodating, the room service and housekeeping were exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and being so close to the ocean with views and sounds of the waves is the best feeling. I’m looking forward to many more stays here in the future.

I've stayed at the Dream Inn several times now and always find it comfortable. This time around was for a family event, the celebration of life for my mother. Shelby and the staff helped us to put together a lovely event for close to 100 people. Things went off without a hitch and the overall vibe was exactly what my mother would have wanted. We had an absolutely lovely weekend getaway at the Dream Inn. The Service at check-in was the best we have had in a long time, attentive and friendly. The room had a cute retro vibe with a stellar view of the ocean. Breakfast (included in our rate, but not all rates) was lovely and offered more great views. We would happily return.
