Stayed here a few times for work. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are fine. The shower is setup poorly so you have to get in to turn it on and get covered in cold water as you wait for it to warm. The paint is peeling on the ceiling of the bathroom. No microwave in the room but it looks like it used to have one and the fridge is sitting on the floor next to the connecting door instead of in the dresser stand like the other rooms. In the summer the pool and outdoor area was nice.

The only reason I can’t give this hotel a negative is because I can’t go any lower. I will also say that some of the staff are wonderful. This hotel was short staffed, disgusting, and the management is a total disgrace. We were even given dirty sheets on our beds. Rooms were not ready on time, kitchen was understaffed, and the overall appeal of the hotel was filthy. When a member in our party complained she was actually told she would no longer have a room at the hotel. Do not stay at this hotel.

No help from staff about where to park, no valet came out to car, entryway drive was full of parked cars. No help with bags, I had my daughter and granddaughter struggling to get our bags. The reason I am a Hilton member and pay more is for comfort and convenience. No at this Hilton! Worse one i have stayed in. The only hook in bathroom fell off the wall as soon as I hung something on it. Not up to Hilton standards! Very disappointed! The view from my room was awful. Wanted 5th floor for the view.

I stayed for a night on my way from NC to Ohio for Christmas and had an OK stay.

Pros; Really good staff. Great location. Nice public spaces. Decently priced and easy to use valet. Microwave and fridge in the room I had. Comfy bed.

Cons: For the price, I was a little disappointed in my room. The fridge had leftover food and the fold- out couch seemed to be broken. You also have to step into the shower to turn it on so no way to adjust the temp without getting wet.

Had a nice wander in downtown though, but I'm hoping for a little better for my next Hilton Honors stay.

I booked this hotel through a third party vendor. When I got to the hotel they could not find my registration, and that booking third party “just causes problems.” She then told me the only room they had available was a suite for $599. I asked if they could hold that room for 10 minutes so I could make some phone calls and she said that would not be an issue because that room is never booked. When I returned, another lady helped me and found my reservation in their email. I had booked this room a week in advance, and they did not check their email for reservations until I was standing there. I was then told there were no rooms available, and there was nothing they could do to solve the issue. They blamed me for using a third party, and said they were short staffed. After questioning why the suite they offered me was suddenly unavailable once they found my reservation she proceeded to tell me that it was never available. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she claimed that she was the manager and then yelled at me to leave the property. She was completely unprofessional and incompetent at best.

The rooms are dingy and don't seemed to be cleaned very well. Dust and crumbs left on the desk and other furniture in the room. Paint is peeling on the ceiling and walls. Furniture looks dirty and damaged. The shower floor looks gross and stained, mold in the seams of the shower door. $16 for the same type of breakfast that most other hotels offer for free. I travel to Huntington a lot for work, I will definitely be finding a different hotel to stay at in the future. The only decent thing the hotel has going of them is the restaurant. The food was pretty good and the bartender is great!

This hotel is the only place you should stay at when you’re in Huntington, WV. I have been coming here for 5 years. Desiree is amazing! She is so kind & her attention to detail is great. She makes sure your stay is complete. Tami & her front desk staff are equally as amazing. They will accommodate any request and make sure you stay is great and they do it with a smile. This is why I stay here. I have gotten to know so many wonderful people that work here during my time coming here and they all make you feel like family.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. The rooms are spacious. The only complaint that I would have is the low water pressure in the shower. Next time I’m in the area. I definitely plan on staying here again
