I've stayed here before but haven't left a review in the past. Feel I've stayed here enough and have enjoyed my stays consistently I should make a review. ||As with most hotels, check-in can vary from place to place. Generally, the person checking you in at most hotels are pleasant in the "customer service" kind of way and I totally understand as they do this all day long. Every time I've checked in at the Doubletree, however, their associates are always more personable and truly want you to have a good experience. Tala checked me in today. It was a rough day at work, and I drove through a lot of traffic to get to the hotel. I'm anxiously awaiting the airport arrival of someone I haven't seen in a long time. Tala immediately put me at ease and got me out of my stressed mindset without me even thinking about it. She helped me figure out a room that best suited my needs and just overall had great energy. I got to the room, and it was exactly what I wanted (maybe needed?). ||I also want to mention the hotel has a nice ambiance throughout. The hotel's restaurant is cozy, and the food is great as well.||The hotel is nice but it's people like Tala that make me remember the experience--not necessarily the room. In the future, when I'm staying in the SeaTac area, I'm staying at the DoubleTree without a doubt.

My husband, my son and I just spent 2 nights at the Seattle Airport Doubletree for Norwescon. The hotel is not the newest or nicest one of the area, but it does have a wonderful staff and EXCEPTIONAL customer service, and those are the things that will bring us back.
I want to single out Kendra from the front desk for her professionalism and her commitment to providing her guests with the highest level of service. Thank you.
I also want to thank Christine from the restaurant for making us feel so welcome and seen during our Easter breakfast.

We checked in with Talla at the front desk on 2/15/25 for a special occasion and we're treated like family with great customer service and a smile. Talla checked for available upgrades to our accommodations and found a beautiful room upgrade that would suit us even better for our stay. We found our room to be clean, comfortable and in good order. It was at the top of the tower which is what we were hoping for to have a nice view. We enjoyed the amenities of the hotel, especially the outdoor Jacuzzi. Upon checking out, Talla again assisted us in wrapping up our stay and left a lasting impression that really contributed to our positive experience of staying at DoubleTree SeaTac. We would recommend this hotel to our family and friends for quality accomodations and warm guest services that leave you feeling like you are appreciated and valued as a guest.

Positive: The front desk was very friendly. We liked the clean rooms and architecture design. Negative: The surprise $40 parking fee per night was a huge surprise. I wished they put that in the website. Also it was hard to go in and out of the parking lot. Overall, the hotel was good except for the parking fee.

This place is the worst piece of hell. When I checked in, the person at the front did not collect a credit card from me. I asked the gentlemen about getting a parking pass, and he said just to stop by the front desk to exchange my room key for one that allows for parking lot access. I got a rental the next day and had my room key switched out. The lady again said i was fine and gave me the new access card. The night before my check out, I got a call after 9 pm. asking me to come now to add a credit card to the file to allow them to charge me for parking costs. I asked if I could give my card over the phone because my 5 year old was sleeping, and they said no. When I didn't come right away they sent security to bang on my room door and loudy say in the hall way that they needed a credit card from me as if I didn't pay for my 4 day stay online. I left my little child in the room and walked down to the lobby that had a long line of people, and after standing in line, I just went back to my room. Shortly after returning to my room, some guy came back with security again and accused me of not going to the front office to give a credit card all after 9:40pm. The guy then asked for my credit card and i.d. as thiugh he thiugh the card was stolen to charge my card and send it back with the security guard. This was the worst stay I have ever had, and I will be reaching out to corporate for the unprofessional behavior. I could have just been charged at checkout for the parking fee. I was embarrassed and profiled at this overpriced outdated hotel. I will be contacting the corporate office as this distasteful behavior should not be tolerated from paying clients. They clearly didn't care that the banging on the door woke up me and my sick child in the room that I paid for online prior to my stay. I will NEVER stay here again, and if you have sense, you shouldn't stay at this hotel either. The lack of customer service skill set and lack of professional is remarkably disgusting. This was a business trip for work, and I am going to let my company know not to ever recommend their employees here again.

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms, but very slow service. Took me over an hour to get checked into my room, and I was relatively ahead in the line. For those behind me it would have been easily 2 hours. Took me over 20 minutes to be seated for breakfast, and ordering and paying together took 50 minutes. Nearly missed the shuttle to the airport. For a quick rest on an overnight layover, this is not the place. If you have more time to enjoy the amenities (pool, spa, gym) then this would be a nice spot.

Good location. 8-10 min from rental return.
Easy in & out ($33/night parking).
Setup is Resort style w/wings and nice gardens.
Rooms needing an update - kinda late 80s.
In-room fridge is not standard - it's a $20-$25/night upgrade.
