Reviewer Lotti543 gives a complete and fair account of this lovely B&B. I can only add that the room, while a little small, is charming, and the owner very friendly - for example, there was chocolate on the pillows. The breakfast is brought on a tray and exceptional, especially when compared to the breakfasts in motels. I would definitely stay again when I'm in the neighborhood.

I booked a room through Booking.com for a room in Ajo, Arizona since we were visiting Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument which is located nearby. ||We arrived at the location and thankfully the owner was there to greet us, as the property is not your average motel/hotel accommodation so we were kind of lost. ||The room is located within a gated courtyard / dining area. Initially we were all sort of taken aback as the owner explained that the fridge and cooking elements were located in the outside courtyard / dining area and not within the room. Not your typical accommodation. ||The owner explained how everything worked and showed us the room - the room itself has a kitchenette area (complete with counter, sink, microwave and coffee machine) which was perfect for the morning. ||The room itself is equipped with a separate bedroom area (separated by a curtain - not a door) and a small living area with futon (which opens into a double bed) and a small table and chairs for dining and of course a TV. ||We were 3 adults in the room so it was a little too cozy. The room however would be perfect for a couple - or a couple with 2 small children, but for 3 adults it was a bit small and since the bathroom is located next to the futon, it ended up being too close for comfort for my brother. ||That being said, the charm of the place and the owner wins you over very quickly. The place is very unique and full of southwestern charm which we all really enjoyed. The owner was extremely personable and amenable and just a pleasure to talk with AND also told us that she would prepare and bring breakfast to us the following morning and even asked us when we would like to be served. The breakfast she prepared the following morning was both delicious and nutritious. We loved it and it was such a treat to have that wonderful meal to start our day. ||Once we got used to the layout of the room and outdoor cooking / dining and relaxing area - which took about an half hour - we really fell in love with the place.||I will definitely stay there again for the charm (and breakfast!) but only as a couple - three’s a crowd. ||4 / 5
