My experience was absolutely amazing! The venue is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful, everything was wonderful! I especially enjoyed working with Lori. She was prompt with responses to emails and extremely organized.
We rented out the hotel and cutest little cottage for newlyweds along with the venue. The rooms were cozily decorated along with the beds and pillows being super comfy.
Wonderful experience throughout, I highly recommend!

The dorrington hotel is super charming and very quaint place. The hotel is located on a huge piece of land, surrounded by redwood trees and mountains in the distance, a very picturesque place for a wedding. Next door is the local pub, The Lube Room, with the best beers and burgers in town, where they play live music too. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway or even a special event!

We had the pleasure of holding our wedding at The Dorrington Hotel (September 10th, 2022). We cannot say enough great things about this venue! The food, rooms, overall look/feel, etc.; however, most importantly, the amazing team that gets you through your special day.
We thank everyone, but most of all, Lori - you were the rock to making our day so special!
Definitely reccommend this for a wedding, birthday, friends-getaway and the list goes on.

My favorite place to stay! The staff is amazing and so helpful in planning events. I have had a New Years party here and been to one of the most beautiful weddings. I highly recommend having an event here! So much charm.

As you climb out of the California Gold Country and the foohills become deeply forested you come to Dorrington at 4,800 feet elevation . The hotel is a charming two story historic hotel with five bedrooms in the main hotel and a separate cabin. The bedrooms are good sized and decorated in the bed and breakfast country style with very comfortable beds and excellent linens. The five bedrooms share two immaculate, spacious bathrooms. Although all five bedrooms were in use on the weekend we were there, it was quiet and the bathrooms were always available and stayed just as tidy as they were before being used.||There is a small lobby and a comfortable front porch,complete with rockers.||If you need TV, Wi Fi etc. this is not your spot.||The big surprise is that you don't have to go anywhere for a great meal. Although the continental breakfast is quite simple, dinner is very special. The hotel has an excellent steak, fish, chicken restaurant with a French accent provided by the owner/host, Marc Lanthier. Interesting wines-- and if you buy wine from the local county and bring it, there is no corkage fee. Also, next to the hotel is their bar and casual restaurant (burgers,et) with an active pool table and plenty of local color.|| Great spot for exploring the gold country and relaxing.

Lovely quirky hotel set among the mountains and trees, beautiful location. The staff were great and so friendly, especially Lesley and Tami, they went the extra mile to make our stay special. |Lube Bar was the icing on the cake, you must check this out, full of interesting stuff, lots of history here. Great food too

Considering the age of the hotel, highly impressive! We stayed for a wedding, rooms were quiet, parking was close and easy. The venue was beautiful and the staff was very kind. Definitely recommend for an event!
