The pancake especial was great. The calamari was very hard, oily, and tasteless. The tacos were below average. Generally not sure impressed with the food. The atmosphere and decor was very nice.

Delightful, little restaurant with an artsy, cozy, and unique vibe. The food was flavorful and fresh. The Anticucho with steak and garlic mashed potatoes was delicious! The appetizer of two Empanaditas were also wonderful, filled with 3 cheeses.

We moved to Grass Valley a month ago, and have had the good fortune to eat at a few amazing local spots; Three Forks, Mezes and Panoy. We found another one tonite!
The bldg is unasuming, but large, w/ little if any discernable parking. Once inside, you're in a charming, if cold in winter patio, one with tons of charm and character. The main entry is likewise unassuming, though the staff are kind and inviting. The food was farm to table and absolutely amazing! The wine list is nice, and the diners come in droves, creating a lively and warm environment.
A new favorite I hope to cherish many times in the coming years~

If you're in Grass Valley, CA, you have to check out Diego's—the Chilean-inspired South American dishes are out of this world!

We had the lamb kabobs and charred veggies and cheese-filled empanaditas, both packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. But the real standout? The Chocolate Fix—I’d drive over a mountain just to have it again!

The entire meal was fantastic and wanted to go back the next day. There weren't any left-overs (too delicious), perfect portions.

Highly recommend!

Went to visit Empire Mine State Park and was looking a place nearby. This is a quick 5-10 minutes drive from the park. It’s a cute little small restaurant. There is mainly street parking and doesn’t seem like there’s a specific parking lot. We were quickly greeted right away upon arrival and seated. They brought out bread to start of us off and my that was some really good bread. It was both soft and warm. Very delicious. I would suggest ordering the sunrise lemonade as well, very refreshing! I ordered the mushroom dish, and oh my, it was delicious! This place would be great for vegetarians and meat eaters as well. The options and possibility caters to all without skimping out on flavors.

We LOVE Diego’s! From eclectic decor to the friendly staff to the delicious food - we love it all! The Hist, Max, is awesome and always so positive and friendly. The servers are always kind and attentive. Our favorite dishes are the Panqueque and the Flat Iron Steak - but have had lots of other great dishes, as well. Oh, and be sure to save room for the BBQ Banana at the end. I don’t really care for bananas, but when they’re grilled in their skin they get gooey and caramelized. Topped with ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce and you won’t be sorry! Highly recommend!!
