SCAM SCAM SCAM! We booked and paid for their property on Wicket Lane in Indio 5 months in advance for an April booking this year. However, this morning I receive a call from Dianna saying the owners son saw on social media that people drank beers at the pool at their house last year and they do not want to rent to me. I did not know these people nor was I with them, I was simply referred this house by a friend. IT WAS A TERRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A MONEY GRAB! Dianna simply said she was cancelling the reservation and hung up the call. Within two minutes the listing went up on AirBnB for a much higher price and was re-booked. INEXCUSABLE! Never have I had a more unprofessional interaction with a property manager than with Dianna. DESERT VIP SERVICES IS A SAD EXCUSE FOR A MANAGEMENT COMPANY! I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO IT THAT NONE OF YOU MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE OF USING DIANNA AND HER TERRIBLE SERVICES AGAIN!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Diana. I messaged her on AirBnB where one of her listings caught my eye. My fiancé and I were looking for a wedding venue and we’re extremely excited when we saw this place. Unfortunately that excitement faded quickly. I was told I could “book an appointment online” if I wanted to tour the property. When I asked her how to go about doing that her response was, “ There are key words/names in these conversations which should make it easy to find us..“. This caught me completely off guard as I have never had someone talk to me this way. I’m not exactly sure what happened to make her respond like this, but I guess this is a blessing in disguise because I can’t imagine how the wedding weekend would’ve turned out dealing with someone like that…

My family, friends and I have stayed at Desert VIP Services properties every year for the past several years. The experience from booking, checking in and the stay has always been super easy. I love love all the properties we've stayed in, beautiful landscaping, endless amenities, beautiful homes with added and new decor everytime we come to stay. The most comfortable beds ever, always get in a great night's sleep. Tons of great memories and look forward to many more. By far the best rental I’ve ever stayed at. The property and home are kept immaculate! This is the 2nd property we have stayed at through Desert VIP and this is the one I know our friends will continue renting. From start to finish, we felt that we were taken care of by Diana. She offered a prompt response to my questions and made sure we had all we needed before arrival. Upon entry to this beautiful mansion which by the way is breath taking, we were met by Diana. She was passionate about hosting our friends and made us feel welcome.

We can’t wait to go back! This is the easiest vacation transaction I’ve made. Thanks to Diana and her team for the fabulous experience.

Absolutely Perfect!
We stayed at the Montage 2 house in July 2018 with a party of 11. The house is beautiful and the outdoor space is amazing. Plenty of shade and misters everywhere. Outdoor bbq has two outdoor fridges which is very convenient. The house is exactly as it looks in the pictures and the layout is perfect for large groups. We never felt crowded and everyone had their own space and bathroom.
Diana is a pleasure to work with and my family can not wait to return to this property.

Total bait and switch experience with these guys on AirBnB. Based on my experience with Desert VIP, I would recommend to look elsewhere for your vacation bookings.

After our booking was completed on AirBnB on one of the properties Desert VIP manages, we got contacted by Diana with an alternate property availability which would be "a better fit for us" outside of AirBnB. The new property was not as nice and was not even a close comparison to the one we booked.. Their property said "Kids allowed" but now her reason for the property not available for us anymore was that they are "selective of the kind of kids allowed". Not sure what that means, but either way it was very unprofessional and also insulting.

She also mentioned that our "choices" were either to make it out to a guaranteed house or show up to a "maybe" for the night. Once I confronted her about this being unprofessional and unacceptable, Diana then proceeded to try and force us to cancel on our end so we pay the penalties on AirBnB. AirBnb support was also very confused by all of this and thankfully provided us a full refund due to the terrible experience.

Folks, save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere. Don't put yourself in a position to get cancelled on 2 hours before you leave for your vacation!

This company is a scam! Booked a year in advance for Coachella '23 then 2 months prior to the festival they cancel my stay on VRBO and list their property on Airbnb for more than3x the amount, I had friends flying in from NY and so everything was ruined, being so close to the festival there were no affordable properties left we were forced to sell our festival tickets. The worst part is they refuse to issue me a refund, I was in contact with Cindy, who keeps stating they mailed me a check but over a month later and still no check. I asked for them to cancel the check and venmo, zelle or paypal me in which they stopped responding. I don't understand why they can't issue my refund back to the card I used to pay, but none the less it looks like I will now have to seek legal counsel or file a small claims order to get my money back. Absolute worst experience ever.
