We had a wonderful experience here! Alex at the reception desk was so friendly and kind. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and his energy was so fun. He definitely deserves allllll the raises!!

The hotel itself is a 10-minute walk to Disneyland. Beds were comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time we go to Disneyland!

Edit: forgot to add that the complimentary breakfast is also really solid. Most hotel breakfasts are kind of inedible but this one was actually decent and the people working the kitchen were so on top of everything!

Rooms are nice, average size (we got a double queen room). Also, the obvious perk of this place is location, location, location: being <1 mile walk from the Disneyland entrance was great, along with other nearby restaurant options. Also, the 7-11 next door made it easy to get food for our little one. Pack-and-play was average hotel quality, worked fine for us. The front desk was helpful: we had a question about the room fridge temperature (note: with the 1-5 scale, 5 is the coldest!), they were quick to find the answer and let us know. I don't know why I didn't ask front desk, but there were no soap bars in the bathroom. Just the attached-to-the-wall body wash and shampoo. If you need those, be sure to ask.

This hotel was a gamble and it worked out great. We had 3 adults and 2 kids and their double room with the double bathroom was perfect. It is a quick 10 minute walk to Disneyland, on a protected sidewalk. Super easy for even my youngest who is a complainer! The hotel lobby has Disney touches everywhere, which was fun for the kids. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly good, with lots of choices, and quality food for a hotel buffet. |The walls were thin and the hotel is very loud. Guests were up early in the morning and late at night going to/from Disneyland so that made it a little hard to sleep. Our room faced the pool, which had guests swimming until late at night, which was also loud. But, my guess is that is the case at most hotels around Disneyland. It definitely felt like a “budget” hotel with the dated decorations, thin linens, and minimal daily housekeeping. However, because of the proximity to Disneyland and the various room layout options we will definitely stay here in the future.

Great hotel. From the moment we arrived we had a great experience, Lauren checked us in and we were able to upgrade our room at a discounted rate. Totally worth it, kids had bunk beds and mom and dad got a king bed. Mattress was one of the best we’ve stayed on.||The free breakfast was so good! Waffle station, eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. Fruit, donuts. It was always very busy, but there was always a table, everything was clean and food was always stocked.||Kids loved the pool and mom and dad loved the hot tub. ||Very short walk to Disney. 2 city blocks and only one set of lights to cross. About 10 minutes.||CVS and Walgreens are right across the street, they have a small grocery section for easy access to snacks if you want to take your own food to the park.||We also had a Walmart order deliver to the hotel that was waiting when we arrived. They even kept out cold items in a fridge. ||Staff was helpful and cheerful. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Disney!

Great stay and perfect location for our visit to Disney. It is about a 10 min walk to the park. Room was clean, with lots of room. We stayed in the one bedroom suite. Was perfect for our family of 5. It was better than expected. Will definitely stay again!

We have been to Desert Palms almost every year for the last 10 years. I travel for business and will come to Anaheim frequently to go to the convention center. I always try different hotels near there to see if there is anything better for my family. There never is. We love staying at Desert Palms. Friendly, clean, close to disney, and so many different room selections to choose from. We love the option with a kitchen! But have also stayed in rooms with bunk beds or even the room with 2 bathrooms and 4 beds. Just a great place to stay, and you can't beat the cost!

Great hotel, friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable. Loved that the kids bunk beds were in a different room with own tv. |Great water pressure for the shower which was over a full sized bath. |Breakfast room was a good size and had a variety. |Would definitely stay again!

I stayed while visiting Disneyland, l liked this place, the room we stayed in was big, it had a kitchen, living room and another room with 2 beds, plus a pullout couch in the living area. One thing I found kind of weird was that there was a Mickey Mouse doll out in the hallway of our floor 🤔. The room service was nice to us when we needed towels or new bedding, super nice and efficient. I liked the breakfast hall as well, they had pretty good food there, and we got a view of the back part of the California Adventure park. All in all I enjoyed staying here and hope to come back soon!
