We are very disappointed with the stay so much that we stayed for one night. Even though we had to pay in advance for two nights. What we encountered was bless Pat's heart but she is to old to run a B&B for she is in her late 80's and barely can get around. She has no help and has a neighbor to check in on her and bring her supplies and mail. Her place was charming but in major need of care. We felt we should of be taking care of her. Sad situation for we have not had a vacation for nine years. ||1) Below tepid water therefor too cold to take a shower.|2) Had to wash out of the sink. |3) Shower was very dark not enough lighting to see.|4) Water usage was limited.|5) Shower across the hall not in room.|6) No key for our room the door had to be unlocked with other rooms in the same area.|7) Noway to protect our belongings as other people could walk in when they please.|8) There were other larger available private rooms with locking doors but was not available for they are too far for Patty to walk to. |9) When turned on the vent in bathroom mice and roach feces fell down on top of toilet and floor.|10) Bath carpets smelled of urine.|11) No T.V. In room.|12) When I went into kitchen there were mice and rat feces on the floor.|13) The Swimming pool has algae through out the bottom. |||Sadly, Pat needs to re-evaluate continuing her business without major help.

Pat is a delightful hostess - and her idyllic home a perfect spot to enjoy all aspects of Tucson. |In the quiet desert on the east side of the city, her yard and neighborhood kept us happily birding for hours. You’re minutes from the wonderful Saguaro National Forest East, as well as iconic Saguaro Corners restaurant, and a short drive from Tucson itself. She’s very knowledgeable about the area and fun to be with. Her pool is a luxurious bonus!

Great place to stay if you like a little off the beaten path. Pat is a great Host who is a pleasure to visit with during breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area. And our dog loved the walks down the gravel road 😊

My wife and I had a 5 star experience spending the night at Pat’s Desert Oasis B&B. The bed was very comfortable, bathrooms were clean and Pat gave us complete privacy. Her breakfast was excellent too! All this literally 5 minutes from the park entrance. Thank you for a great experience Pat.

I made the reservation through Expedia. When I got to the property I was told they were overbooked and there were no rooms available unless I wanted to sleep on the couch and share a bathroom!
I had to book another hotel at the last minute and pay twice the price.

My girlfriend and I were able to get a room last minute on New Year's Eve for 2 nights @ $50 a night. Miss Pat who owns and operates the home was very hospitable and makes a great complimentary breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed meeting Pat and staying at her lovely hacienda. She made us a fantastic breakfast after my swim in the pool! We will definitely stay again!

Desert Oasis is a tranquil house located about 3 miles from Saguaro National Park. The morning smoking mountains and sunrises are breathtaking. The hostess Patty is gracious, and provides a home cooked "desert" breakfast😊.
