Incredible BBQ!! Ashley was our server (and owner) and just incredible. She helped us choose the perfect Saturday Night dinner while on vacation. The Pulled Pork, Brisket, Fried Whiting, Mac and Cheese, Sweet Potato Casserole, Collareds with Smoked Turkey, Spicy BBQ and homemade Tartar sauces are MUSTS. We will definitely be seeking this place out again when we are back in town.

I tried this place back in July. Sorry for just getting around to my review. I'm glad i didn't go off of the other reviews and tried them for myself. Everything was amazing. Im a southern girl and know good food. I think the reviews are flawed, but if you're ever in the Charlestown downtown area, this page is a hidden gym. The food again was amazing!!! The customer service was superb and the music was great also. Don't pass this place up! Trust me, if you want good food, give them a try.

When I saw the name I had to check them out because I had experienced their food at a BBQ festival in Canal Winchester, OH several years ago. Food was just as I remembered. Meaty ribs, perfectly fried whiting, Mac n cheese deeply cheesed up, collards seasoned, tender pulled pork and a banana pudding that was so good. The owner refused to serve it to us that night because it hadn’t set yet, but she told us to swing buy the next day to pick it up. We did, so good!

Stopped in for a bite between HS basketball games at coliseum. Immediately greeted by who we think was owner. She told us she was sold out of brisket. We opted for pulled pork, and it did not disappoint!!!!! Coleslaw was superb. The baked beans were amazing! Super friendly, fast, and scrumptious.

Worth the drive, food was delicious and the staff so friendly and inviting 😋. Took my best friend for her birthday yesterday drove from Huntington and we will definitely make the drive again. They know what it takes for an amazing experience. Can't wait to go back, the mac and cheese and their homemade Spicy BBQ sauce was out of this world. 10/10

Soul food - Soul good! Finally they opened a shop downtown. We had no BBQ! Everything is good here. Everything! All the sides. All the meats. There is nothing bad here. The sauces are all the bosses! Within walking distance from basically everywhere in Charleston this place is like a beacon summoning soul food fanatics to its front door. When you cross the threshold you are hit with that unmistakable smoked meat aroma. It basically lifts you off your feet like a Tom and Jerry cartoon. I loved how the eating area was set out and the decoration. I appreciate how nice both the server and the person handing me my food were. It’s so crucial in the service industry but needed more so in today’s crazy world. No nonsense here or politics, just great food. Keep this place here. Support local business.

Had the opportunity to meet the owner Ashley. She is very customer orientated, and is dedicated to excellent customer service. Had the opportunity to have the ribs and pulled pork with the hot barbecue sauce outstanding, you will not regret. And if you’re looking for a good sweet potato casserole, Ashley has it. Will definitely be recommending this spot.

We already loved Dem 2 Brothers and a Grill so having a location open even closer to us is exciting! Almost as exciting as the CORN RIBS for this plant based food lover! I went in for dinner with my husband ready to order a few sides for a meal, as I usually do, and then the girl taking our orders asked if I wanted to try their corn ribs. I had no idea what to expect yet it exceeded all expectations. The corn ribs were delicious and fun to eat. The dipping sauce added a nice flavor as well. I was so happy to find a new plant based food to try. Besides helping to fill my stomach and satisfy my taste buds, it made me feel cared for and thought of, something I don’t often get in restaurants around here and completely unexpected from a meat centric restaurant.

Other than the corn ribs, in between my husband and I, we had Mac & cheese, baked beans, potato salad, fries, and brisket. We loved it all! If you’re a mac&cheese lover you must try theirs! It slaps!

My only suggestion for improvement is to lower the music volume and keep it consistent. It kept jumping from off to blaring to loud while we were there.

We can’t wait to come back!
