I have booked at the hotel regularly for months now. Today solidified my rating of one star service. I live in skagit county and travel 400 miles twice a month to visit family here in airway heights. Before today 3/30/25 I have never had an issue checking in before 3pm and have never been informed by staff or while booking that 3pm is the official check in time. Today I drove 400 miles and was told at 11:30am that I cannot check in because she doesn’t have a clean room. How hard is it for them to arrange for a room to be cleaned, be offered to wait a few moments while basic customer service is performed. Instead you walk into the front lobby to see the receptionist and another member of staff joking around and not working. Completely and totally unprofessional and I will never be booking again. Thanks Days Inn airway heights!

Update: I have since spoken with the manager of the property, he had offered me a discounted stay to make up for the poor experience from my last stay. Unfortunately when I called today to double check that everything was in order I double checked their usual rate against the “Discounted” rate. The manager offered me a discounted rate of $291 for two nights. Those same two nights if I were to book online through Expedia were $230 after all fees and taxes. When I emailed him to ask if this was a mistake he informed me that I was unprofessional and to remove his email and “his” hotel for future stays. Completely unprofessional. 0/5 stars. Do not stay at this hotel. Please see attachments for emails with the hotel manager whose name is Rafael.

We were traveling through Spokane and basically needed a room for the night. The room was small, but still large enough to accommodate us, bed very comfortable, heating system very quiet, and bathroom perfect. Perfect!

Staff very nice. Breakfast very good. Bed very comfortable with enough blankets. Bathroom clean. Floors in room were in need of being swept. No elevator. Was what we needed after a long late flight: a soft warm bed to get some sleep.

Positive: The bed and pillows were comfortable. Negative: The room was definitely less than clean. Could not use the coffee maker because of being unclean. I had booked a three - night stay, but left after the first night. Hoping for a refund!

Extremely well kept modernized comfortable rooms. Excellent staff and a rarity in motels nowadays breakfast. Not talking about sack lunches actual breakfast glorious breakfast. Day's Inn is right up there with the "top rated " hotels for half the price. Of course I've been known to prefer the ghetto over the glitz. I will be staying there again and I recommend anybody that comes into town stay there too

Stayed Saturday night and paid for the parking and the airport shuttle, lady at front desk asked when our flight came in we said Friday at 1130pm she told us to call and someone will pick us up. When we call at 1130pm the night shift guy was rude and told us the shuttle was done for the day that they put in there 8hrs and leave that management dose not allow over time. I told him what the girl said he didn't seem to care nor did he seem to care I said I would be calling the manager in the morning. After we paid for a $45 Uber and checked into hotel he was rude just handed us our keys no expectation on what the room number was or where it was or that there was a breakfast or where that was. Heat was also off in room so it was freezing in there. I don't recommend staying at this location AT ALL.

The staff is very nice. The rooms can be upgraded, the outlet in my wall was coming apart. The walls were paper thin, the bathroom was messy. Food at the breakfast is expired though so beware. Good location for the airport though..
