The overall stay was good. The beds were nice. The pillows were nice. It was clean. They have breakfast in the morning from 7 am to 9am. It would be better if they extended the breakfast until 10 am for those that are on vacation and want to sleep in. Also they need to serve some meat for breakfast.

Unfortunately it was not a good experience.
The whole place had an unpleasant odor of cleaning supplies, which is perplexing because the room was not clean. We found other people’s hair in the bathroom and debris in the toilet (despite having the “sanitized” strip over it). There was a leak under the sink. The overall condition of the place was in disrepair. Management was not at all apologetic or helpful in regards to the above.

Budget friendly... Neat n clean. Spacious room. Simple free breakfast... Conveniently located near restaurants. Highly recommended

Rooms very dirty the floors were extremely dirty, the heater didn’t work the remote didn’t work an there was some old Indian food in the microwave! And I love Indian cuisine but not old & spoiled.

And more over they charged me $10 for a face towel because it had dye on it. So lame

Positive: The continental breakfast. Negative: They deducted $30 from my security deposit for what looked like a small stain on a bed sheet. I'm not sure if the stain was already there or if I was responsible for it. They didn't even know if the stain would come out or not.

To get the good stuff out of the way, the staff was fairly nice, and the breakfast was decent.

The bad:
The back doors had key card readers that were not functional, meaning anyone could just walk in. There was only one said back entrance that was locked with a padlock after nightfall.

Our hotel bathroom door also would not shut and stay closed during our stay, so we had to place something in front of the door to keep it from opening whenever someone was in it.

All in all, I guess you get what you pay for. For the most part, it was still a place to stay for our weekend; we had no other issues.

Basic things like light switches in the room didn’t work .. The towel provided had stains. The wash basin tap was leaking bad. Very noisy throughout the night due to some maintenance work. And worst of all, no hot water. Never staying here again or recommending to anyone!!!

The hotel has a policy to charge $5 per day in case of any incidents. I received the deposit, but unfortunately, due to the exchange rate (i’m canadian), I’ve lost about $7-8. While it’s not a large amount, I’m frustrated that I lost any money at all, especially when there were no issues. This is the first hotel i’ve stayed at that charged a daily fee before confirming any incidents. All the other hotels i’ve been to only collect credit card information and charge you IF and AFTER any incidents occur. If the hotel followed the same policy as the others, I wouldn’t have lost any money. Given that LA attracts international tourists, they are likely to get charged extra as well due to different currencies. I was quite annoyed about this. The room is decent, but the thin walls and sketchy location made the experience poor. Guests were also allowed to smoke in the hallways which I did not like.
