The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable with big fluffy pillows on them. The TV went out blew out when we got there but management came in less than 10 minutes and replaced it with a new one thank you for your kindness and promptness. I will visit again when I travel!

Business trip to Centerville with days spent at Boggy State Park.

There are few lodging choices and Days is a national chain,

Front desk service was poor & we were given some problems about a service animal, (colleague is deaf).

Room was clean, all amenities present. Continental breakfast was fruit loops or blueberry pancake batter. Coffee/milk and apples. You are surrounded by excellent food choices. But not at 6am.

Day of check-out, I call the front desk at 9:30am from Boggy State Park & explain that we are fishing on the lake, and would be returning to the hotel very close to 11am. Requested a late check-out of 12 and he said it would be fine, no problem.

At 10:40 we find neither key works. Go to desk and given 1 key & go to room to shower & pack.

At 11:20 staff is knocking on the door, I presume housekeeping and tell them we are dressing and would be just a few more minutes.

11:35 and the front desk calls the room & says I am holding things up & asks when we are leaving. I asked if the Noon check-out is no longer possible, he hangs up on me.

We left that hotel before noon with quiet fury. Not one person in our company drinks or smokes, we pick up our mess because we love enjoying our beautiful state parks...which is why we did our team building meetings in Centerville to begin with.

We are well mannered, clean, educated & employed. There was no issue with ability to pay or being the cause of any environmental stresses to this establishment.

The disrespect shown to my handicapped, senior coworker was worse. This had nothing to do with his service animal (he never took her back into the hotel-she slept in the truck)...

They treated him like a dim child, using base words, yelling and then refusing to acknowledge him in contract or conversation because of THEIR discomfort with his inability to hear.

He reads lips, carries a conversation like an Olympic medalist & enjoys a private shower- after a morning of fishing with his equally charming dog.. with all of his employees.

We will not be returning.

Positive: Location was perfect for our travel. Right off the highway and food options within walking distance. Negative: Rooms were dated, but very clean and comfortable. I did not find a downfall to the hotel.

It did the job and did it fine. Staff were helpful, and room was great. It's hot and humid weather there so, was nice to have a cold room to sleep in. There's a convenience store across the street, and that was nice to grab things too. Upstairs is best for quiet btw. You're welcome. 😉

Decent for an overnight stay on a road trip. A little pricey for what it is but wasnt a deal breaker. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Its an older days inn as all of them are these days. Could use a remodel but room was clean and so was bathroom.

Wall switch plates disgusting, bathroom baseboards full of pubic hairs. Shower curtain did appear to be new and was clean. Didn’t feel comfortable touching anything or walking barefoot on the floors. Only plus is it was less than 5 minutes from venue.

I'm very upset with this new way of booking a room that they charge your card as soon as you make the reservation. The stupid refund policy they have created that you have to show proof of the listed reasons that's on there list.Smh I should of just went ahead and booked my room in Buffalo. Plus I should have read these reviews before I even considered. I use to book this hotel years ago and nothing has changed.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Especially after reading some of the pastor union. This place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the water was warm, all the amenities we could ask for here, including blow, dryer, ironing board, iron, ice cups, coffee, and alarm clock, wonderful heating and cooling. Although during our stay, we mostly used the heater. The carpets were very clean, they sent me a text message after check-in asking if I needed simple, anything else and how to contact them if I did. This is a bargain at the price, I will be staying here again and I recommended it to all of my friends and family.
