Hands down some of the best fried fish and grits I have ever eaten. My favorite dishes every single time I cross the threshold is FRIED GREEN TOMATOES AND FRIED CRAB CLAWS. The service received never fails. I love David's Catfish of Monroeville, AL. Been eating at this location for over 20 years.

Great family place with good food at a fair price. Waitress wasn’t so attentive as in the past, but she was just a kid. Probably a bit more managerial influence is needed in this respect but overall another satisfying experience, and I will be returning!

Had 2 call 2 get more fried catfish fillets, & the waitress said they could only bring out 2 strips @ a x. & They added the waitress tip on 2 my bill without telling us, which that is totally wrong 2 do that. Just so the waitress could get a tip who would not hav gotten it otherwise.

They offer many dishes that are complimented with a baked potato yet they DO NOT serve baked potatoes. How unamerican is that!!
The dining area is just way too open & offers no privacy such as a booth would. The server wasn't very friendly & the fried okra had no seasoning at all.

Requested a grilled cheese with fried green tomatoes on the sandwich - it was great. The hush puppies are ok - the fries are excellent. Service was excellent.

Came home from being away from home to a really good meal. It's always a treat to eat at David's. We had the Family Dinner and Cajun Shrimp and grits. Everything was really good!

We got catfish and popcorn shrimp special on Wednesday. It was outstanding! Everything was cooked perfect the fish shrimp fries and hushpuppies were great and cheese grits are awesome! It was way more than we could eat. Annsley was a great hostess for us too.
