My family loves breakfast, and ate at dozens of breakfast places from Bangor, ME to New Haven, CT. This place tops of in my list of top 5 breakfast right beside Polly's Pancake Parlor and the Sugar Shack. Amazing food. Exemplary service. Top notch diner feeling with custom made plates and mugs. Classic Americana mid 20th century feeling. Highly recommend! We arrived at 7 AM and there was no wait. By the time we were done by 7:55 there was a line outside.

The turkey dinner came out steaming hot. Mixture of white and dark meat. The mashed potato, stuffing and beans were great. The grilled roll was a really nice touch. If you're in the area, give Dave's a try. Reasonably priced, and nice music on and classic diner look.

First time here... Googled "breakfast"while in the area and this was one of the places that popped up.. had Porky's skillet ( I think that's what it was called ) 1/4 of it filled me up and it was pretty tasty 😋 we'll be back for sure... LOVE this old style restaurant... Next time we'll sit on the stools upfront 🍳

Will only complain that my potatoes had too much seasoning which isn't that big a deal and my hollandaise sauce needed a bit more seasoning but overall we were all happy. We got the big round booth and it was my dad in law's birthday. He loved it. My first time but won't be my last.
