I ordered the Sunday special, Eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce and gravy over the potato hash.
The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was creamy, with perfectly crunchy potato hash ... everything together was delicious and hearty.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was quaint. It is a bar, but they offer a full menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's a lovely neighborhood joint with plenty of parking at the back of the place.

We love Dave's!
We go almost every Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast. It's just a solid spot. The food is good and the waitresses are always on top of it.
Don't expect anything fancy but definitely expect an affordable well rounded meal you're not disappointed with.
Side note: There is free popcorn. Seems weird but we definitely share a bowl every time. Perfectly salted and buttered lol.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. What's not to love? Dave's is a staple in the Valley, and I've enjoyed every meal there. Usually I get an omelette, but today I split the German sausage special with my wife, and the flavor was on point, with enough food for us to have some leftovers.

The rumors are true: these folks have the best fish and chips in Spokane! It's the closest I've found to coastal seafood in the inland northwest. Great atmosphere too.

Excellent bar food. The French dip had a lot of meat and the chicken strips were pieces of real white meat, not processed. I would recommend the steak fries over the crispy fries.

The place was almost completely fill there was one table open. Everybody seem like they are enjoying themselves. The staff seem very happy. They were pleasant to all customers. I had the prime rib. They have prime rib two or three times a week. I would say that 50% of it was good and tender. The other 50% was hard to cut and a little chewy. All in all all customers were light and nice to everybody you felt like you're at home. The cheerfulness was high. If it wasn't for the chewiness of the prime rib I would have given it five stars. The good experience all around. Bathroom was clean and they are good at cleaning up tables.
