We had a great experience at DAOU! Our family’s Italian market buys some of their wines for the store so we wanted to come visit. We are so happy we did! The grounds are breathtaking, the winery’s stories are amazing, and the staff is superb. We enjoyed everything we tried and all the information that was given to us. We really appreciated them treating us so well. You can’t beat the views!

Very nice views!!!! Just be sure to make a reservation ahead of time and be prepared for a 150 dollar bill for wine tasting and cheese plate. Also beware of signing up for the wine club as there are no final prices listed on sign up sheet

As always Daou, never disappoints. The staff is superbly trained, and able to answer any question. The facility itself is gorgeous and you feel like you’ve gone to a different country once arriving. The fuse are spectacular and the experience will always be memorable.

Extraordinary place, fantastic view, great wine and friendly services. We had our tasting for 3 hours and they don’t rush you out, instead let you take time to enjoy. The wines are excellent. We ended up joining the wine club. Highly recommended.

Wow! What an experience. Gorgeous winery. Gorgeous views. Delicious wine. Great service. The charcuterie here is next level as is the veggie platter. We had a beautiful day sitting on the terrace. Looking forward to going back.

This was our second time here in 12 months. Both times, the experience was terrific. Today, our wine host was Ruben. He was patient and accommodating and did not make us feel the least bit rushed, despite the fact that we were the last customers in the general tasting and dining area. The wines were fantastic, as we already knew, and I would give 10 stars if I could. Shout out to Katie Holmes, too, for recognizing us from last year and remembering exactly who we were.

I’ve visited a few times and always enjoyed the beautiful views and great atmosphere. However, during my last visit, I had a less-than-ideal experience. I brought a spread of snacks to pair with wine, and while setting it up, the server came by twice—once to bring water—without mentioning that outside food wasn’t allowed. Only after everything was set up did we learn it wasn’t permitted due to codes and regulations.

I understand this isn’t the server’s fault, and she was just following the rules. However, there were multiple chances to inform us earlier—when we arrived with bags of food or while setting up. I also checked the website and building for signs but didn’t see any notice about outside food being prohibited.

For those planning a visit, be aware that outside food isn’t allowed, even though many people associate wineries with picnicking. Clearer communication about this policy would be helpful.
