For starters, its a nice little hole in the wall (where good BBQ calls home). They have 2 drive-thru windows and some benches for outside seating if that's your preference. I ordered 2 Rib plates, both with Baked Beans and Potato Salad. The ribs were perfect. Seasoning was great, it wasn't fall off the bone but wasn't so tough that you'd have to knaw on the bone, more along the lines of bite, twist, and toss the bone. Baked Beans never disappoint, and the Potato Salad was very good as well. The BBQ sauce isn't sweet or sticky, it's vinegar based with some heat added to it. The ribs were so good that I forgot to add the sauce however, it made for a great dipping sauce for the roll. Had to head back for some of the banana pudding, which I was surprised they weren't out of it after I took a bite, it was that good. If I could give it more stars then I would, I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend whoever reads this, do the same.

I came here around early June I believe, and we waited our hunger arriving in Boaz and we were looking around wanting to have some food considered local. So bbq was an option and it was close by where we were. At first we didn’t know what Dales was but once seeing up close, it seemed to be a reasonable place. We saw the different items on the menu which could have been an option but we decided to have the Brown Bag special which turned out to be an excellent option. There were two sandwiches to choose from, types of chips and beverage whatever option plus it came with a cookie. This locality’s brown bag option on the menu is a smart way to lure customers to keep coming back to get them.

Take out only (drive thru) but absolutely delicious BBQ. Each day is usually a different special. The beans have burnt ends in them, the potato salad has sour cream and cheese in it and the cole slaw is vinegar based. You can also get baked potatoes and nachos with pulled pork. You cant go wrong at Dale's BBQ

Great little joint. Food is wonderful here, unfortunately it varies from day to day for specials and they frequently run out of potatoes...it's that good. It is a drive through only so if wanting a sit down restaurant plan on eating in the car but definitely recommend, you won't be disappointed

One barbecue potatoes is enough for2 meals the baked beans and coleslaw is awsome and I'm not big on baked beans but I definitely ate my share lol

Love ordering the family meal from here. Everything you would need to feed everyone. The BBQ sauce is very good and the potato salad is amazing. I need that potato salad recipe please!

We usually really enjoy Dale’s BBQ in Boaz. However last night when I came through to order, the woman at the window was apparently in a bad mood, and was kind of rude to me for some reason as I was ordering. I really don’t get it, if you hate your job so bad then why bother coming in?
Beyond that, 2 BBQ potatoes and 1 order of BBQ Nachos costed me 30 something dollars !! So I asked if that came with any sides and was given a mean look and a quick no. Even after so many red flags, I still decided to go through with the order, my wife would’ve been super disappointed if I came home empty handed!
Food wasn’t cold and didn’t have any off taste, it just wasn’t that good. My stomach did churn though when my wife pulled a hair from hers!
The whole experience last night was downright nasty, unlike anything we have ever experienced from y’all before.
This is usually a really cool place with really great food and service. But it definitely wasn’t last night…
