Crescent Moon was an all-around fantastic catering choice for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Not only was the food incredible, but their communication and flexibility were truly top-notch. One of the first signs that we’d made the right decision was how excited our other vendors were when they heard Crescent Moon would be catering. And after our tasting, we totally got it—their food was exceptional, and the menu they put together for us was exactly what we had envisioned. After the wedding, we heard so many compliments from our guests about how great the food was!

We used Crescent Moon catering for our wedding in Port Gamble back in August. The food was tasty, beautifully presented, and delicious. They even packaged up our leftovers for us to take back with us to our hotel. We are so glad we chose them, as they made it all so easy and were very helpful through the whole wedding planning and postponing from 2020. Crescent Moon Catering came highly recommended by our venue and after our initial tasting and email correspondence with them, it was easy to see why. They focus on delicious down to earth food with an elegant touch. Kate and her team were always willing to chat through my numerous questions and were able to work with our budget and preferences to create a custom menu for us and our guests to make our day even more special. Our guests were raving even days after our wedding about how delicious everything was, some admitting to us that they had gone back for seconds and thirds. They even worked with us to update the menu for some unexpected allergies after our initial tasting, providing options that would work with our budget. They went above and beyond, providing us (the bride and groom) with special plates full of the cocktail hour appetizers and even providing a to go box at the end of the night with some of the leftovers. We highly recommend Crescent Moon for all catering needs as a delicious, affordable and personable vendor.

Kat is the best! Kat, Chef Anna, and the team were extremely patient with us throughout the entire wedding planning process. We came to them with a specific menu in mind (PNW cuisine), and they brought it fruition! Our plans for linens and flatware also changed multiple times, and Kat quickly and graciously responded to each new question. On the day of, they arrived on-time and were flexible when our cocktail hour space had to be repurposed as our ceremony space due to rain. We had a family-style meal, and HIGHLY recommend this meal format because it encourages conversation at tables and everyone gets food at the same time. Last but not least, the food itself was delicious!

Crescent Moon Catering made our Asian-fusion vision come to life for an affordable price. Chef Anna is an absolute wizard in the kitchen, creating fabulous food for appetizers and buffet. Food was one of the most important things at our wedding and, I can tell you, this did not disappoint. Our guests went back up for seconds and thirds and we STILL came home with some! My husband is thrilled about that haha. I cannot wait to work with CMC again in the future for other events.

We are thrilled with the experience and the food we had with Crescent Moon Catering at our August 2024 wedding! We had so much fun building a custom buffet menu, with fresh local ingredients and ambitious dishes. Through the entire process, the Crescent team was responsible, professional, creative, and enthusiastic. Where we were looking for suggestions, the knowledgeable chefs offered us multiple options to round out the menu or make modifications to certain dishes. We enjoyed the tasting event as well, which allowed us to try out the food and make some minor tweaks to our preferences. Their management of the linens, tableware, food space, and kitchen cleanup was wonderful and we were able to stay fully present to our event and not worry about any of those details - Crescent Moon had it covered before and during the entire event.

During the evening, multiple Crescent Moon team members specifically came over to congratulate us and share well-wishes, a wonderful personal touch. We loved the food and it seems the rest of the attendees did as well. We would wholeheartedly and definitively recommend Crescent Moon catering for your next big event!
