I’ve never seen portions this big!

We came to Crazy Otto’s for breakfast this weekend, and it was superb!
They offer classic American breakfast food with a little Mex twist (eggs, bacon, hash browns, chorizo, burritos). The food was excellent and felt very homestyle. The standouts for me (though they are a side dish) were the biscuits and gravy. I was pleasantly surprised to see them on the menu, and even more impressed with the flavor. They were super flaky, and the gravy was hearty and thick. Most plates range from 15-20 dollars, and are more than enough to fill you up. We all came back with leftovers, so I’d say it was well worth the price.
The restaurant itself was very quirky and unique. The atmosphere was very 50s California, lined with license plates and memorabilia.
The waitresses are incredibly kind and funny. They have great recommendations and know the menu like the back of their hands. Service was great and really fast.

I lived in NC for 10 years and gravy is a religion there, as a result , I had been somewhat a connoisseur of this liquid gold . I don't normally write reviews but their gravy game is legit and brought me back to my blue haired church ladies in NC. Extremely surprised with the authenticity of Otto's claim to southern comfort food. Large servings, food comes out fast and fresh, and everything was delicious . Highlights : Our server Stephanie was efficient , attentive and went beyond my expectation by bringing another steak when she noticed one of our steaks was a little overdone . The gravy and biscuit is as good as it get. The space is small they will NOT seat you until all of your party is there but this place is AMAZING !

Used to come here a lot with my dad, the food is always good and portions are great. Workers are wonderful. Came in today with their "50 year celebration" coupon. Buy one meal, get the other half off. A blonde lady who works there quickly jumped in to let me and the cashier know that "they don't do discounts or coupons for to go orders" and to fix the price, then walked away smirking before I could reply. It doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon, and it feels like she was giving me grief because she was in a bad mood. I never leave bad reviews, but she seemed too eager to jump in and decline a coupon for no reason. The other workers were friendly and happy, but I won't be back. That blonde older lady was obviously miserable and was happy to take it out on a college student with a tight budget. Next time, instead of spending 40 bucks plus a tip at a local restaurant to get told "what's what" I'll just spend half that at the chain restaurant across the street. I won't be back. Thanks for the attitude over the extra 12 bucks that was going to go towards your tip anyway. Takeout is less work for you anyway, I would love to understand your logic as to why coupons aren't applicable to a takeout order.

Read full description All items on their menu before ordering before ordering your warned !! they get creative with their menu. Very few of the items are homemade at this location especially. Don't bother complaining because nothing will get resolved in your favor, it's like arguing with your boss or mom...Once you enter this establishment you might as well just break with $20 per person just give it to them. It's a little bit of a joke. If you get something to go check it I repeat check it! Because they will make you bring back the whole order sometimes at least with me they did and when you're bringing it back to an office full of people sometimes people don't want to break with their lunch it was another fiasco once with that! This restaurant diner is notorious for making things complicated they will not walk away from one dime. I don't know if it's because they are having a hard times or just stubborn but it seems like they cannot have any grace and dignity in regards to taking back food. I've witnessed this many times. Refunding money off a bill unheard of! They will never walk away from any equity whatsoever! I'm not sure if that's smart on their part. I'm not sure if it's because they just can't afford it or stubborn. Perhaps its owner derived.... One thing I do know I don't recommend this vibe it's sort of awkward. I wish they understood the concept that customers remember the bad experiences. When are they going to get that!!!!! I think they should rethink. I hope they read and rethink their strategy because I love their food sometimes. I go to the one on avenue I if I want a diner fix. It's a shame because this one's closer to my house and I feel like the cook is better here. I wish they'd get it together. I feel it has so much potential. Get it together. Is it so much trouble to give a free plate of food are things so bad? It seems like it's more important for them to be right than it is to be nice. Perfect example an old adage cutting off your nose despite your face.

Not the best diner lately. Large menu. No substitutions. Some things only available on weekends and holidays. Most coupons only available on weekends and holidays. Read the descriptions on the menus completely. Check your to-go orders before leaving that restaurant. Losts of parking. Next to the gas station and freeway. Very conveniently located to the markets in stores. Don't complain it won't do you any good. They don't care. In this establishment your best bet is to read the menu quietly answer the question of coffee yes or no and then Make your order have very little talk with them because they honestly do not care about you so don't think they do. They just care about your money and how they can take it. I have never in my life told people to have bad manners but in this case it really doesn't matter they don't care eat your food be on your phone barely look up because they don't care they could care less absolutely zero. They absolutely could care less if you like the food If you don't like the food. They don't care if you leave happy or sad or even if you were to leave crying, just make sure that credit card doesn't decline That's their motto. I am not over exaggerating the lack of enthusiasm this establishment has for its customers. Even though I think the cook is good and has so much potential to bounce back great lately the plates are coming out looking like regurgitation. The waitresses are taking their toll on this person too. I just don't get it. I can't wait for someone to take this restaurant over and give it a good shakedown.

The worst customer service ever! Not once but every single time there's little problem it becomes monumental. This time I did not have my reading glasses on while reading the menu.I read the big header that said Spanish omelette of course anyone would assume a Spanish omelette has salsa or some Spanish ingredients Right No not here here it's a Chili filled onion concoction with absolutely no resemblance of anything Mexican not a hint of spicy involved No salsa whatsoever is involved You have to ask for. Long and the short of it. When I wanted to exchange it I realized I made a mistake I really didn't want chili for breakfast they made a big deal about it it became a fiasco. The waitress wanted me to try and like it. Of course I try to be polite. I don't like to return food it was actually my mistake. I thought they were going to take it off the bill because after all it was an honest mistake at the end of at the end of it it was a $50 bill for breakfast and I hated every bite when I could have gotten something I really wanted and they made me feel bad when I mentioned hey I wish I would have exchanged that for something I wanted I don't know I felt screwed. I'm just saying this place I'm not going back I always feel like I'm treated badly here so will you. They just don't have good customer service in general. They should take a look at the The general consensus and really read these take a good long look themselves.
