My husband and I have been regular campers here for over 10 years now. I think it is a wonderfully maintained campground; bathrooms are clean, sites are spacious. Even though we do not have kids, the facility is very family friendly with a pool, man-made lake, parks, and a mini golf area. They also offer free tubing and canoeing on the river for registered guests. Many weekends, they have games, a DJ, or other entertainment. There have been several times where our plans have changed, and we weren't able camp; the office staff were friendly in changing our reservations. Although we didn't get a credit back to our card, we were sent gift cards to use for future reservations. |I highly recommend this campground!

Went for their Halloween days and it was a blast! Campgrounds well maintained, very level RV grass spots that it was a quick set up. We have a 2 year old and she had a great time at the petting zoo and the DJ playing Halloween music. Truck or treating was a fun time for the little one and the adults as well. Will be returning again!

My family had a good time but we have been to better campgrounds that are less expensive and more things to do for kids and adults. They should have stuff planned for kids to do at least. Sugar river is closed after Labor Day for tubing but you can still get in the water at your own discretion. The man made pond is full of blue dye and I’m pretty sure my daughter got pink eye from the sand area there. The pool is small but it does have plenty of shade. The cabins and bathrooms are clean and pet friendly. The Golf carts are too expensive and go very slow. You can rent them for $100 from 9am to 9pm or $300 for 2 nights. I have always paid less at other campgrounds. I would say this place is best for older adults with no kids that want peace and quiet, but not a good option for families with kids. The staff was helpful but I think we would choose a more kid friendly campground next time.

The Campground is decent. Every year they seem to have less and less things to do there. The man made lake is the best thing to do, but no real amenities, no slides or blowups or fountains. We went on Labor Day, and most of the Labor Day party things are gone. A lot of the sites are now empty, probably due to how expensive it is to go there now. They have a cool camera system that checks your license plate, but no updates to activities for the adults or kids. They offer tubing which is cool, but there are no more kayaks and no double tubes making it hard with little ones.
I would recommend this place if it was half the cost. We have a very large group and had been going for 7 years and this was our last year. We found a place that has the equivalent amenities in a better location for half the cost.

This was our 2nd time there and we love it. The owners take such good care of this place. They have a new office/store that is really nice. They even serve some food. We love that it is on the Sugar River not only for the beauty but we like to fish. We will be going back with our grown children and grand kids.

This was our first stay. We had a premium site near the beach. The sizes of the sites are exactly what I like. Plenty of room to spread out while not being on top of our neighbors. They had plenty for the kids and all facilities were very clean and well maintained. We will put this on our β€œCome back to” list for sure. The beach and swimming area was great and my daughter loved it.

Third time staying at this wonderful campground. The cleanliness is beyond words. So well kept. The staff members
that keep the campground so clean are so kind. The camp sites are nice and big. Sewer hookups are phenomenal on sites that weren't there a year ago. This was an added bonus for our favorite site 317. Lastly, we really appreciate how campground rules are defined and fairly implemented.

The staff there and facilities are excellent! We stayed in a deluxe cabin that had a bathroom. Our almost 5 year old daughter enjoyed the pool, the β€œbouncy” (pillow jumping), and petting the goats especially! We enjoyed playing basketball, pickleball. We all enjoyed making a great fire and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows! We will definitely visit Crazy Horse Campgrounds again!
