Reviews of Covered Bridge Inn Motel

Covered Bridge Inn Motel - Oneonta, Alabama
Terra The Terrible
3/5

The gentleman at the front was super nice and charismatic, he is the only reason I hesitate making the review. The TV was damaged, which is fine. I just got the room to sleep. There was the normal wear and tear you would expect from a cheaper hotel. The only thing compelling me to write the review was the bugs. They looked like adolescent roaches. I walked into the bathroom sink area and I see three or four shapes skitter away. I go into the bathroom and see a larger one sitting between the toilet and shower like he was the one who rented the room. Next morning I went to the bathroom and another one crawled on my leg while I was doing my business. I'm not squeamish and can live with it but I know I'm not normal in that aspect. Without the bugs this place would be super convenient in location and welcoming with the kind staff, I would give a 5/5 for the price.

This place should not be open, I never seen anything like it, they are putting people in rooms that is not safe and are very nasty, I am going to call the health department to come look at them rooms, I couldn’t get my money back from them and I didn’t sleep in the room, I slept in my vehicle, they should be ashamed of themselves for putting people in them room, everything is nasty, the beds are dirty filthy and the floor is filthy, the shower don’t work, buds are moving around everywhere, I have had nightmares about that place, I moved to 3 different rooms and they all was the same. And I still want my money back, stay away

I really enjoyed staying at this motel. The people were very professional and helpful. Very peaceful place. New renovated rooms. Very nice for small town. We come often instead of staying in Birmingham.

So very thankful for the Covered Bridge Inn! I needed a room and they were very helpful! The front desk service was amazing! I went to a Days Inn first and it was awful. The rooms here at the Covered Bridge Inn are very clean! They have cable tv, a nice sized room and bathroom! Very pleased to have found this place!

I've had to stay here for 2 1/2 months after our landlord forced us out in the street after my dad died. They overcharged me several times. I paid $150 for 3 days in cash, and the female owner tried to charge me for it again. It's happened multiple times. For a 1 bed small room they were charging me $395 a week while they were giving my aunt, her ADULT daughter and her...whatever you want to call him, a suite that had 2 beds and a half room or something like that for $350 flat. It didn't make sense to me. It was cheaper to pay by week, but I don't understand why they were charging me $395 for 2 adults, a 6 year old and a newborn. The cleaning lady was very sweet, and so was the son and the male older owner. (Sometimes.) But I'll never deal with the female older woman again. If I ever have to stay in a hotel again I'll go elsewhere.
