The service is extremely poor. When I arrived I was feeling a little sick, I mentioned this to the front desk and asked if they had (by any chance) a thermometer... the answer was very a very dry no. No follow up... OK... Not everyone is emphatic, I can understand... I stayed 1 night (Feb 15-16) with points and 3 nights (Feb 16-19) paying. At some point I asked if they could get me an electric kettle or something to help me boil water (I was still sick)... another very dry "no".... OK..
They charged me $73.58 extra (who knows why) so I called them and they said they were going to refund me the amount and waive the parking costs... they refunded me $73.13... a little less than what I've already paid and no news about the parking cost.
I know that this review may prompt the automatic answer "we are very concern for your review, we strive to maintain customer satisfaction blah blah blah" but truth is the last few times I had positive and negative comments (which I provided through the appropriate channels) never got a return... I'm a platinum Marriott member (and been an SPG member for more than 10 years), looking for alternatives right now since the treatment I'm getting lately is definitely sub par. Any recommendations for other programs are welcome 🙂

Employees are misinformed, I arrive to check in excited about the jacuzzi. Female front desk worker says “we don’t have one” I went to look and they literally have one. Then from 10 pm up until 12am a group of boys were running up and down the hallway screaming. Called to complain a few times. They started up again at 6am screaming in the room next to us. Walls are super thin!!! Building must have been built in the 80s with one piece of plywood because my kids and I got no rest at a place we were going to vacation at. Front desk staff tried to offer me a coffee to make me happy when I said I wanted to speak with the GM. Never got a call or reached out to about the situation. Employee Sam promised I would get a call and I never did! I am an elite member. But maybe because I am not a business man they don’t care about my experience. Zero stars if I could!!!

Fantastic, friendly staff who go out of their way. Harrison was amazing and went out of his way to help me sort what I needed for an event and he helped everyone around wirh a huge smile and welcoming demeanour. I wish more hotels had staff like Harrison! Very comfortable beds and great, quiet room. Loved my stay and highly recommend.

My daughter and I had a great trip to the Courtyard Oceanside Marriott hotel. We were in town for a camp at the William Wagner Aquatic Centre across the street. It was a convenient 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was a strip mall with restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. We were a 15 minute drive from Legoland. I recommend for anyone wanting a quiet stay in Oceanside.

Loved It❤️. Small And Cozy. Very Clean Nicely Decorated Beds Very Comfy😍. They Have Everything You Need In Hotel You Don’t Need To Leave. There’s Lil Store Warm Food. We Went To Freestyle Concert And It Was Very Convenient To Walk To The Bayfront Arena InsteadOf Paying 35.00 For Parking. Will Definitely Go Back.😍

Beware! Bed bugs in room 434. Stayed 2 nights. Entire torso covered in bites. The bites began to show on the second day of my stay and got worse over the next few days. Called the hotel and was told a manager would contact me. It’s been 4 days and that still hasn’t happened. Extremely disappointed. I deserve better for paying almost $400. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

Most of the front desk employees are very sweet and kind and will help with any questions or requests that you have. There is one whom I didn’t find very professional and I can tell by other reviews I’m not the only one who thinks this. The bistro is a limited menu, but it works for what you need. The biggest issue I had was with a woman who worked at the bistro…she yells at employees in front of guests, puts them down and you can tell she plays favorites. I had many altercations with her and reported her a couple of times. The one manager that people have issues with didn’t tell the assistant GM and kept it to herself…they are friends… I complained again and had it with her and her attitude. The rooms are clean, majority of employees go above and beyond and there are plenty of places to eat in the area.

honestly, i have no idea where to even begin with this place. lets start at the fact my boyfriend and I had done about 7 and a half hour drive non stop to get here. i booked through my bonvoy app with my associate discount, yet the price seemed more than it should've been. However i was TOTALLY okay with have to pay more (i had never been to California and just accepted things are more expensive) YET when we go to check in the lady at the front desk is kind enough to tell me "since you're an associate you shouldn't have to pay this much let me see if i can adjust your rate." i say thank you for the help and we appreciate it but were exhausted and would like to go up to our room. she says she understands and would try to fix it in the morning. so come morning and we go down to the front desk to find out about our rate. BUT there is a different person of course because its a different shift time. So when i explain to him what the lady said to me at check in last night, the guy at the front desk sees we are from Tucson and is so kind about figuring out how to try to help us. He then comes out from the the back office with who i assume is the front desk manager. May i say she had the absolute WORST attitude when she walked up to us, when i try to explain to her the same thing i just explained this guy, the same thing the lady at the front desk explained to me at check in. the front desk manger(i assume) she then looks up my name and becomes frustrated with me saying "well you booked under family and friends. then right after she says that before I CAN EVEN GET A WORD OUT she says "you booked under family and friends no one changed your rate so" then she just stares at me. i try to say "well i wasn't accusing anyone i was just explaining what was.." she cuts me off saying "well that's what you booked under and no one changed it is there anything else?" Honestly i was just so taken back by her attitude that i just said no and went back upstairs to our room and cried because I COULD NOT understand how someone could be so rude about a this type situation. Especially since i was so kind to her to have gotten that kind of response out of her made me see that i will never book here again. Also after looking at the reviews? I realize wow I am not the only one to have a bad or rude altercation with her. with that many BAD reviews ? i don't see how she's still working there she's clearly making the front desk a horrible experience for anyone who meets her. However I'm disappointed i was too exhausted to get the first front desk ladies name because she was a joy to talk to. I am also let down that the second front desk lady made me so uncomfortable i didnt ask the guy at the front desk his name either because he was truly so kind for trying his best to help the situation and try to joke around with us. but that last lady i met? she made me realize why i never travel.
