They've done some improvements to get the bistro up and running, so that's good. My biggest reason for knocking this place is it's the only hotel I've stayed at that doesn't have free coffee at least in the morning, and there'sa crazy line waiting to just get served Starbucks coffee, which I don't like. Many offer 24 hr complimentary coffee. Also, none of this is available until 6:30am, where most places ater 6am. I'm sorry, but me that's a deal breaker.

On the other hand, I like the rooms. Finally a place that points the TV at the couch instead of the bed. All I have to say is Thank You!. The staff is friendly as well. I knocked service because of my previous complaints, not because of personel.

I love the location. But for a year now that has been issue with flooding or heating. We even have been woken up out of our sleep for false fire alarms. When traveling by plane thousands of miles the worse thing you can experience is your stay. I donot recommend this hotel for no one stay. You never know if it’s going to be a flooding an issue or heat issue or television issue. It’s always something. No compensation for your stay or anything.

I can not believe Marriott puts there name on a place like this. This is unlike any courtyard I have ever stayed at. We had to switch rooms shortly after check in. The heater in 1st room was whining so bad there was no way to sleep. The bar and restaurant were never open. The carpet and elevators were dirty. Definitely never staying here again. The TVs in the room must be 1st generation flat screens and only have a few crap channels. Pool was also closed.

This is a shitty and poorly managed property. At first, the hotel looks like another Courtyard… that’s good.

Once you walk in you can tell poorly management and administration. The elevators are scary to get in.

My room smelled like a dirty bar from the 50’s. Evidently the guest before me smoked in the room. The hotel should retain the room until the smell is gone and sanitize thoroughly. I can tell that was not the case.

I reported this to the front desk. They offered me to change rooms.

Next issue: The shower.

In the morning, at 7:10 am no hot water running in. If you have to call front desk from your room that’s usually not a good thing. I called twice. No answer so I went downstairs.

The front desk lady said, “I’m sorry, maintenance comes in at 9:00 am. There’s nothing I can do”. With that answer I did what my grandfather would do. I took it like a man and showered with cold water.

Just after I was done, someone knocked on my door, with an offer to switch me to another room to take a shower. Too late. Damage done.

The funny part: I’m a Diamond Hilton Honors member. This past weekend I thought, I have so many points with Hilton, I’ll give Marriot a shot. I got their credit card and booked this first night. A total cluster.

I stayed for a week and had 1 lukewarm shower. The rest were cold. When I checked in, I wasn’t told about the water issues. Overall the staff were fantastic. They were the only reason I tolerated the water situation. This hotel needs quite a bit of updating, but the room was decent. Loved the balcony.

I cannot believe this is a Marriott. The room was disgusting stuff all over walls. Room had an odor of pee. I never slept because I was itching just thinking about how dirty it was. No warm water little lone hot. Room was either hot or cold, no in between. Sheets seemed to be clean and front desk clerk was cordial

Positive: Nothing Negative: Nothing breakfast buffet. Check out clerk said initial card was declined when my credit card showed payment pId. Our son gave the clerk his card and it was charged. Fraud alert sent to son?s credit card company.

Easy access to hotel. The hot water was not working in any of the rooms our group was a part of. The rooms were definitely older and had not been updated in 10-15 years. The pool was closed due to health and safety hazard. The elevator said out of order but seemed to be working. Breakfast was sub par. The bar never really looked open for service if you could really call it a bar. Most likely will choose to stay elsewhere next time
