I stayed there for an Auburn football game. Given the proximity to the school (50 minutes), the price was fair. It's right downtown with lots of good restaurants around. Service was good, but my room was not made up by 3 in the afternoon. I put on DND after that.

Positive: The beds were very comfortable. Great location and staff was very friendly. Negative: The scent they blast into the lobby is too strong. It's nice but over powering when you walk in the front door.

Another great stay at Courtyard. We enjoyed the nighttime stroll in Lafayette Square directly across the street from the hotel. A magnificent lighted fountain at the center of the square surrounded Lafayette’s statue. The large trees on the edges of the square had strands of white mini lights dangling from their branches and the park itself was kept very well. The hotel mattresses were very comfortable. The service was superb. And in the morning, we were just a 3-minute stroll from Gus’s Grill for a delicious breakfast. Can’t wait to go back and stay there again.

Overall the hotel was in a great location and seemed nice inside.| My main issue was the pungent smell of bbq smoke coming from a local restaurant that gets sucked into the hotel. We were staying on floor 3 and it was smothering when we first checked in. I asked the front desk about it, and she said yes that it was normal and once the smokers stopped running that it would calm down. Well, the rooms reeked by the time the smokers got turned off and no amount of air freshener that the front desk had sprayed helped. I do appreciate them trying, and the front desk employees were very nice. Now, it would’ve been nice to be able to call them about it instead of walking down, but our hotel room phone had no wire for the phone. It was just sitting nicely on the bedside table like a decoration.

Positive: Location Negative: Small room felt cramped and no blankets or extra linen for fold out bed otherwise it was nice enough. Felt like a lot of furniture for such a small room.

The hotel was clean, the staff were pleasant! I would recommend staying here. It was across from a beautiful square and near great restaurants!
