Great hotel
Friendly staff, especially my company didn't book my nights by mistake and the woman at the front desk did everything she could trying to retrieve my booking and finding me a room, lovely !
You have a Starbucks at the lobby, which is pretty convenient
Gym is OK for an hotel gym
Location is very close to Spectrum center, 10min by foot
Rooms are nice, I only found the water pressure a bit low but that's OK.
Cleaning is properly done everyday.
Only bad thing is people slamming the doors at anytime of the day making it quite noisy sometimes, but not the hotel fault.
Highly recommended if you need to stay in Irvine !

A perfect hotel location that’s in close proximity to my son, his fiancée and their wonderful dog Bishop while also walking distance to Irvine Spectrum. Front desk and room service personnel are wonderful, great workouts in their well-equipped gym and the exterior landscape are meticulously maintained by the landscaping crew. Overall a wonderful place to stay during the Christmas Holiday! Will stay here again Christmas 2025!

I came here to attend a seminar and During lunch I was lounging in the lobby in one of the sofas and I laid down on a big sofa and one of the workers told me I need to sit because otherwise it looks like homeless people come here. What kind of a language is it to a guest that has spent over 1K for a seminar here, paid 45$ for parking everyday for few days and spent over 50$ in the bistro for their low quality food.

What a nice hotel. Newish, elegant, impeccably clean, comfortable, unfussily luxurious, with a great pool & cabanas and an incredibly kind staff. Guest rooms are plenty spacious, light, bright and immaculate. Felt like a 5-star but at a great price. Walk to a huge mall two blocks away.

Great from the word go. I am a travel agent and stayed for 1 night while in town and I loved the location, the staff was so nice and helpful and had terrific attitudes. They offered to take us to Irvine Spectrum and did, we walked around, shopped, ate dinner and enjoyed ourselves, they even offered to pick us up but we decided it wasn't far and we walked back to the hotel, less than 10 minute walk. The only thing negative i would say is the rooms were quite small for what you pay but I will take small and clean over big and dirty any day. I will definitely tell clients about this place and I will make it a point to comeback.

As a Mariott Titanium - I don't say this lightly. This is one of the best Mariott properties in the country. The service is top notch. Every single staff member is warm, kind, fun and easy going. From the cleaning staff, to the front desk - I felt like I was living among friends for my week there.

Don't be fooled by the "age of the property". The hotel is in excellent condition. Every room smells lovely. Every component of the hotel works as if it is brand new. The pool and hot tub are perfect. The care this hotel has had during its lifespan is notable in its own category.

The food at the bar is excellent. Tons of options. All delicious - great value

The hotel gym is well above average. Weights, treadmill, yoga - you can do it all

Let's talk about location - 15-20 mins to world class surf breaks. 15-20 mins to excellent beaches. Feel like going for a walk- tons of shops and restaurants in walking distance.

Some hotels recently have cut corners on cost - cheaping out on pillows, towels, blankets, air conditioning. This property has actually doubled down in the opposite direction- extremely comfortable bedding.

I've stayed at JW Mariotts, Ritz Carltons plenty of times. I would option to stay at this property over others simply because of how exceptional it was.

Congrats Courtyard Mariott Irvine Spectrum. From a very well seasoned traveler - you have one of the best properties in the country.

Just had the best experience at checkin, Helene at the front desk was so sweet she notice i was having a hard time getting things sorted for checkin. She went out of her way to come to where I was seated to help. I’m sure she saw how tired i was because we did get in late and she was so caring showing me exactly what I needed to check in and was so patient waiting for for me to find my items. Thank you Helene for ALL your help! Your the BEST EVER!

The 2 best things about the Courtyard by Marriott Irvine Spectrum are the lobby and the rooms. The lobby has several sections and even walled desks with electrical outlets. I didn't get the chance to enjoy the putting green, cornhole, etc, outside, but there's plenty of ways to entertain yourself here. The rooms are up to date, clean, and spacious. The walls are a little thin, so you can hear doors opening and closing etc, but there wasn't any disruptive outdoor noise. The property also is near many choices for dining at the Spectrum and there are plenty of restaurants nearby that deliver, which is helpful because the restaurant on the property is closed for lunch. ||For the most part, the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at the coffee bar in the morning. However, I did get locked out of my room at 12 p.m. on the day I was scheduled to check out. I was packed and ready but left my bag in the room while working with coworkers in the library. After I commented that I had never had this happen before, the manager was a bit short with me and said I should have asked for a later checkout. All in all, it was a nice place to stay near the SNA airport and near colleagues in the area.
