We came, we tried it, and we won't come back. Just referring to the food court part.

So we finally tried the restaurant/deli area that is inside...... it's lacking. We ordered the tamale platter. It clearly says it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Nope. Nothing.
The flavor was nonexistent. Such blah tamales. We won't eat here again. Such a let down.

Also put my cookie in the bottom of a bag full of heavy glass items. Great.....

We love coming here. Always a pleasant atmosphere and yummy samples.
Always clean, tidy and put together well. The homemade ice cream bar is amazing. If I could go here daily, I would!

On 10/9/24, I visited the Richland, Washington location of Country Mercantile. While it's smaller than the original location in Pasco, it's still pretty big. I don't normally travel to Washington via this route, so wasn't aware that it is is close to a freeway exit. When I saw the signage, I knew I had a stop. My goal was just to make a quick visit, but I was there for approximately 3 hours. a Here are photos of some of the items I saw, several of which I purchased. The best part of my visit was getting to try the remarkable Dubai Chocolate Bar, which is made in house by Randi, Andy, and Areli. Hands-down, this is the best version of this specialty chocolate bar that you will find anywhere. It's worth visiting the store for this item alone. If you like food, you must make a point to visit Country Mercantile.

The selection of pickled items is huge and unique. That is the reason I come back over and over again. If you're looking for specialty or regular flavored jams, preserves, salad dressings, pickled items, local honey, bulk chocolates or candies, fresh made breads and so much more, then look no farther. A small but beautiful boutique gift/trinket area as well. Fresh produce from local farmers as well.

I stopped by on a tip and had fun. It's a clean store with a little bit for all. I enjoyed seeing the large selection of chocolates, the variety of breads and selection of canned goods. There's a ice cream bar and a restaurant on the premises. Some of the prices were fair and some were higher than what I'm used to. Still a 5 🌟 experience.

Large variety of foods and treats. Sandwiches were just ok for the price. French dip was gristley and Au Jus ok. Produce (apples in particular) were aged and softening up. Bulk candy is blushingly expensive. Their ice cream and gelato are quite good though. Crafts and gifts are fun to browse.

Great stop on our road trip. We enjoyed the wonderful ice cream but there was an amazing selection of all sorts of goods and gifts and sandwiches.
