We got the chorizo and eggs (substitute cottage cheese because I’m keto) and the enchilada plate. Both are very good! Great selection of food . Service is great, very friendly waitress

The food here was actually really good. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos and it was delicious. And I mean the whole plate. The guacamole was fire and the beans and rice were perfect. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak and she like that too. The country potatoes side she got were some of the best we've ever had. We will definitely be going back.

Update: I recently returned for lunch.
Food was fair, lacking flavor and appeal, and portions have been significantly cut while prices have increased. Service was poor and slow, now refills on beverages were offered, and the server never returned once we received our food. Chips and salsa were an additional charge of $5 and a very small portion.
We will not be returning.

A damn fine meal! It only took a year to find this place. It’s obvious that the food is prepared with love and pride. I had the 2X2 breakfast with a side of hash browns. The e eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked, the hot cakes were tasty and the taters were also perfectly cooked. My wife had the Relleno plate with a tasty egg slapped on top. It was the best chili relleno we have had in lake County! We will be back!

I see many of the poor reviews are more than a year old and mention price. Yes, price is high but not unreasonable considering quantity. It was a mistake to start charging for chips and salsa but I suspect locals were taking advantage of it. Food here is excellent, especially the breakfast and the carnitas. Carnitas Super Burrito is huge and awesome. Staff is friendly and efficient but they tend not to deliver the bill unless you ask for it.
