I would rate 4.5 if I could. It’s very clean, especially for a pet friendly place, but the ceilings can have damage in places and just seems worn here and there. It’s better than ok, but not exceptional.

Heated indoor pool has hours 6am-11pm!

Decent hotel and location. However on the last morning, I just happened to overhear someone say the front was going to turn off the hot water at 11am. I get there probably isn't a way to notify current guests of this, but to select a time that's an hour before their 12pm checkout is just shameful. The elevator was down so we had a 3 floor hike. Also, rooms are only cleaned every 3 days.

Positive: The staff at the front desk was wonderful. And I like the option of having pet friendly rooms with hard surface floors. Negative: The room was noisy, thin walls; we could hear the people in the next room talking as if they were in our own room. When they open the door to their room, it sounded like they were coming into our room. if noise is not an issue, then it?s a good hotel.

If you value sleep- don’t stay here. Elevator out, as an “I’m sorry,” given a useless coupon for Texas Roadhouse, free appetizer w/purchase of two entrees- I’m traveling alone. People next to me watching movie so loud I didn’t even have to turn on my TV. People above me either bouncing on the bed or were pretty active. You can hear every single footstep in the hallway above and from the second floor, my room was on the second floor. . Like ogres tromping well past 11pm. And the kids in the hallways running was fun too. Carpet was not clean, tile in the bathroom by the door was not secured, dated and dirty. The only upside- the bed was comfortable and room heated up quickly- for me to lay there for hours after being on the road for hours with a 14hr trip left to go.

Save your money, stay elsewhere.

Definitely not a 4.3 rating IMO. Rooms are terrible. Carpets are disgusting. Couches are filthy. Nothing is clean. Rooms are very dated. The lobby is nice, exterior of hotel looks good. But the rooms just are not nice. Would not stay here again.

I returned to Country Inn and Suites Winchester expecting a repeat of last year's positive experience. Unfortunately, this year's stay was marred by significant issues. Despite GM Ms. Owens' efforts to resolve the initial booking problem, the check-in process and subsequent interactions with the front desk staff were frustrating and unprofessional.||As a seasoned hospitality professional, I understand the importance of excellent customer service. Simple gestures like an apology can go a long way in resolving issues. Additional training for the front desk staff is clearly needed.||Given these experiences, I'll be seeking alternative accommodations for future stays in the area. It's disappointing, as I valued the consistency of staying at the same place during my annual visits

I can’t believe this place has such good reviews. It is so filthy! There was a beer bottle sitting at the top of the main stairs my entire stay. Not one employee thought to put it in the trash. The door at the top of the main stairs was sooo disgusting that when I used the sleeve of my jacket to turn the handle it left a spot built up gunk on my sleeve I immediately took of my jacket I was so disgusted. Every time I went in or out of that door I had to find a napkin to open it with. It’s like it wasn’t wiped down in years it was covered in filth. I had no choice but to use that door because the elevator wasn’t working so I was forced to take the stairs. The room itself was cleaned very poorly too. Water stains on everything in the bathroom. Every surface had debris and cup marks on it. A bunch of the towels in the bathroom were stained in yellow. 90% of the TV channels had these diagonal lines going over them making it hard to watch anything on TV. The TV remote had food on it. I literally had to buy hand sanitizer. I was so freaked out and I’m not a germophobe at all. Wish I chose somewhere else to stay.

Positive: It was modern and well maintained. The staff was top notch. The room was extra clean and modern. All the supplies were excellent like in room coffee soap and shampoo etc. Negative: Was the best hotel we've stayed at in many years
