The check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. Even though there were quite a few little children there and a cross country team, it was very quiet. The hotel was close to all the things we had planned; brewery tour, hike at the reserve and fishing on the Wisconsin River.|The lovely lady putting out breakfast was a joy!!!

Close to campus, clean rooms and bathroom, great breakfast. Lori who works the breakfast area is outstanding! Super friendly and attentive to your needs. Kept all the food well stocked and the tables clean. Struck up a conversation with everyone she came in contact with. It was also Veteran's Day weekend when we stayed and Lori served i ||the Army ...thank you for your service, Lori.

One of the best places to stay in Steven's Point! Clean rooms, early check-in was allowed, staff was helpful and friendly, pool was heated, hot tub worked great, location was perfect, check-out is at noon, and breakfast was nice. Can't wait to go back!

The bed sheets were stained upon arrival, setting the tone for our stay. The thermostat in our room was also broken, making it impossible to adjust the temperature for comfort. When we visited the pool and hot tub, it became clear that something was wrong with the chemical levels. Shortly after entering, several members of our party and other hotel guests began coughing. We reported this to the front desk, but the response was dismissive: “It’s just the hot tub jets.”

We also noticed another guest vaping right next to the hot tub, which could have affected the chemical balance. One member of our group experienced shortness of breath and even vomited shortly afterward, while others had bloodshot eyes. When we reported the vaping incident to the front desk, the staff member replied, “I don’t know how to do my job, I’m bad at confrontation. If you want me to say something, I can try, or you can.”

The staff showed no concern for the situation, even as guests exited the pool coughing and with visible irritation. Between the stained sheets, the broken thermostat, and the lack of response to serious health concerns at the pool, this stay was incredibly disappointing.

The best part of our stay: our interactions with Phoebe! She was so sweet, kind, funny and made sure we were greeted with a smile. Check in was a breeze, the room was nice but could use some TLC in the bathroom. Our bed was comfortable and the building was quiet, which we appreciated. Loved that the pool was open till midnight and that checkout was at noon. I am definitely returning! Thank you, Phoebe and staff!
