Easy to get to off the highway. Staff was very helpful especially Leah at the desk. Room was clean and very comfortable. We had a midweek stay and it was very quiet. Breakfast was good. We would definitely stay here again

Super clean, located right off the interstate with tons of amenities nearby. Downtown less than a couple of miles with a few neat restaurants and…the final resting memorials for both Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson are in city limits. If Stephen is here upon check-in, you’re in great hands. Super courteous and knowledgeable about town. If you choose this C-I & S, tell him I said hello and thanks for a great weekend.

Zero patience with guests or large groups. If you book using a 3rd party they will remind you at every conversation. Super impatient and condescending. I felt with 5 people during my stay and 2 were polite and friendly. One yelled at me for standing in the lobby. I asked if the fireplace worked since it was cold and she said yes. Then I asked how to turn it on and she said “do I look like maintenance”. Super stressed out and unfriendly staff.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Our team stayed here as part of an athletic competition at VMI. We had many rooms booked between parents and athletes. The staff was extremely rude and unhelpful to us. Honestly do not know how this hotel stays open. Would never stay in a Country Inn anywhere based on my experience here

In response to owner: We have stayed at other hotels in your area and have a wonderful experience. Never a problem until this past week. Never a complaint from any hotel. While sitting in the lobby, I could hear how rude your staff was to people on the phone. Don’t be so defensive. Just do better

The gentleman that checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. We felt like he was glad we were there. Breakfast was clean, usual hotel food.enjoyed our get away very much

Great room. Nice location. Came down for the Safari park. Booked a double queen suite, and had plenty of room for the grandkids. Very clean and breakfast was great. Accidentally left grandson’s backpack, of great sentimental value, there on the bed after changing his diaper. We are hoping housekeeping can find it, as we have a friend in the area who can pick it up. Overall, a great stay. Will stay here again when we come back!

The late night clerk looked scary.. haha, sorry.. but he looked like a tough dude that's prepared to take on a bad situation. Im sure he sees all sorts of folk during the late hours? Room was your typical Country Inn rooms... Breakfast buffet was little desired. Maybe offer more options?

Hotel was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff was friendly and attentive. It would have been nice to have some thin curtains that let light in, but they were missing from my window. Road noise was noticeable early in the evening but declined well before I went to bed.
