We loved our stay in our little cottage on Whidbey Island. Tom was a wonderful host, the cottage was cozy and quiet, the bed was comfortable, the views were unbeatable, and, best of all, Tom greeted us every morning with a homemade breakfast. What more could you ask for?

Their breakfasts were great; highligjted with homemade quiche one morning and a scandi custard/friut pancake the next morning. We saw deer on the property daily. The grounds and our cottage need some maintenance, but we still enjoyed our stay and would come again. A quiet piece of property. The owners were very nice. The cottage is very close to downtown, walkable. Pet friendly.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Catalina Cottage, and found the setting very relaxing despite being located next to a main road through town. The cottages and owner's home are located on what was once a large farm, and the grounds are overgrown with a variety of fruit trees and flowering plants. Some TLC is badly needed in the gardens, but the quaint cottages are lovely and well supplied for a comfortable stay. (Ask the owner Jacki about her grandfather and history of Catalina Swimwear.) Jacki and Tom are really friendly and helpful hosts, and the homemade breakfast brought to our cottage each morning was quite tasty. Some of the cottages have a long range Puget Sound view, as did the Catalina, and there is a porch in front of each with tables and chairs for relaxing. If ever in this area again we would stay here and choose the Catalina for its porch and view.

While Langley is lovely and the rooms are very pleasant, what distinguishes Country Cottages for me is the proprietors, Jackie and Tom. The breakfasts are amazing and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and positive. We generally come to Langley in connection with Djangofest, and the Country Cottages location is a couple of blocks from the WICCA center where many events are held, and only a short walk to downtown where the jamming takes place.

I stayed at this property in early September of 2023. The location is excellent, especially the proximity (walking distance) to Langley amenities. The cottages are set in a lush, well-planned garden. The cottage I stayed in was extremely comfortable, featuring so many thoughtful details to help one feel at home. Breakfasts lived up to the excellent reviews, and it was very pleasant to have an outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfast in fine weather as well as the comfortable living area in the cottage if outdoors was not an option. The owners were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Country Cottage of Langley. It was so close to the downtown core, which was lovely. We also thought our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved getting to enjoy the fireplace while hearing the rain fall on the skylight. Very cozy! The breakfast was also very tasty and the room itself provided everything that we could have wanted or needed. We will certainly be interested in staying here again, and will recommend it to others who travel to the island.

Wow, this place is so great. We stayed 1 night in the Creamery and it was so relaxing. The owners are so kind and fun. Our breakfast was really good, we choose to eat at one of the Inn's community tables outside, instead of our private cottage. We had great company and the weather was so nice. ||||We enjoyed walking around the town of Langley, it's just so quaint. If you plan on eating in town, you need to get there early!!
