This restaurant is very good.. They have a limited menu as they have been only been open a little bit.. They use top grade burger for their hamburgers. I really appreciate that.. They're Atmosphere is nice.It's more like a home environment amongst friends.. I will stop here again.. it is right behind the truckstop

The burger is excellent here! We grab a cheeseburger atleast once a week. The menu is limited because it's just getting started. I would rather give my money to a local business and a way better choice than the fast food places. Also, best breakfast in town! Biscuits and gravy is another great item.
I would like to see some signs go up so the "pass thru" /truckers/tourist know they are there.

I was excited to see on their website they serve an eggs Benedict. But they don’t, the menu was a joke super limited to 5 meals to choose from. My family and I sat down not to mention dead in the restaurant got a menu 15 minutes later. Then another 10 minutes got drinks I got some nasty tap water and they had no iced tea my husband ordered. The server finally took our order another 10 after getting drinks from a can. We all ordered hamburgers cuz the menu is super limited. The food was mediocre, overpriced, no silverware, and the service was super lacking, we will not be going back just so unorganized so all in all we were all disappointed!

Under new ownership in last 2 weeks. Still working on getting staff and getting supplies deliveries setup, so some growing pains, but service was good with those challenges and food was excellent. Talked a bit with the owner and has several good plans in mind, so should see some great improvements ans changes in the next few months, give them a chance now so they can realise the better things coming.

New owner- give it until at least February to let things settle down. They didn’t have any of the items on their menu available, and had only one waitstaff (and she left to take a break). Anyway, after 20 minutes with just glasses of water, we left and will try again another time. Hope they can get it together because it’s a nice little spot.

I'm a vegetarian so I stuck with fried pickles and a house salad. Everything was amazing. The dressing was made in house. (Something I especially appreciate as an artisan home cook) The service was fantastic. I will definitely be back. Absolutely recommend the fries pickles.

Five-stars! Cordes Diner is a great place for a Friday night date-night. Hubby & I enjoyed the food, the 50’s vibe & the service was top-notch! We ordered the green chile burger & the red chile burger. Best burgers we’ve had in forever; the onion rings & fries were cooked to perfection👌 Thanks, Shawna for the awesome service!! Wishing the “new” 50’s diner all the best👍
