These pasties are awesome!! The crust is just the right thickness and the meat and veg are tasty. The gravy is a good addition. The original Fast Food. All warm and ready to go when you get there. Will definitely stop in on another trip thru Ashland.

I live in the Yoop and am fortunate to be friends with the owner's sister, so they were hand delivered to Calumet. The Miner's pasty was delicious! The crust was the best I've ever had and I really liked the spices! They're also very pretty! Next up... The breakfast pasty!

Lovely young woman serving yummy food. Even gave me a recommendation on a quiet place to sit by the Lake and enjoy my dinner. A must do on a Lake Superior Circle tour!

Amazing food and service! Staff was very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the traditional miners pasty and it was amazing! Lots of seasoning, buttery crust, and a great portion size! As a born and raised yooper, it was awesome ( that's saying something, we are picky 😉) highly recommend!

This adorable little pasty shop has replaced our fast food runs and we are so glad. The miner is my personal favorite - buttery with local beef and rutabagas… and service is always kind and happy. They also have drinks, chips and dessert. Great for take out or warming up inside. Stop here!!

Who doesn't love a hot pasty on a cold day? We bought 8 frozen pasties and cooked them up at home for dinner. The pasties are huge and the crust is tender and flaky. The shop is clean and inviting. We met the owner and she was very friendly. This is going to be a regular thing for us!

Oh so tasty and generous pies! Great little spot in town for a break from viewing the murals in Ashland. A nice touch to have ice water available for patrons!

Delicious pasties. Tried both the Irish and miners pasty, both very good but my favorite was the miners. The pasties are filling, hearty and a very satisfying lunch. I would love to see a gluten free pasty on the menu!
