Cook’s used to have the best food ever. Now portions are ridiculous. All of the ingredients including the lettuce in my taco salad was about 3/4 of an inch deep inside the taco shell bowl, and that is just one example. I will continue to support this small business because that’s important, but for the last 2 years things haven't been good. Please go back to to the way you used to do things.

We love Cook’s Corner inside the Tesoro in Sterling, Alaska. Lots of snacks inside and the food smells fresh and tastes great. We always stop here a time or two when in the Sterling area. The station sells ice cream too for your kids or grandkids.🍦

Amazing! Not expecting such fantastic food and service from a gas station restaurant.
Seriously, you won't be disappointed if you eat here. We got the bacon cheese burger with grilled onions and regular cheese burgers. Both fantastic. Chicken strips meal is big enough to share.

We go for the soft serve on occasion. It’s good but the older lady working the counter is always so grumpy and rude makes us not want to come. Asking for 4-5 ice cream cones and get a scowl basically to service us.

I eat or takeout often. Great food. Nice people & service. And the best ice cream, large portions of baked desserts. Like a one stop little shop. Fresh hot food, desserts, camping supplies, lots of convenience needed stuff, & gas station.

First time in Alaska, my husband & I came for the fishing! Thankfully this restaurant/convenient store was right down the road from us. Opens at 6:00 which is awesome for us to eat before we fish! The staff is amazingly friendly, the friendliest we’ve met on our trip down from Anchorage. Food was delicious & quick! They are locally ran & not bought out by corporate, which makes them the place to go! Stop by if you’re fishing on the Kenai River or traveling to Homer!

Perfect breakfast spot, good affordable food, coffee and friendly, smiling staff! They have hot n ready food if you need a quick stop and made to order if you have time to sit. They were open early (5:30am) so it worked out perfect while we were waiting for our guided fishing trip over at Bings campground. They got everything you need, I even grabbed a few fishing supplies over on the gas station side for our trip.

Cooks corner is the best food within 100 miles, I highly would recommend stopping if you are passing through Sterling, grab a nice coffee and enjoy an amazing breakfast burrito. Miss ami prepares them fresh on the grill and they are to die for. Customer service is absolutely excellent would highly recommend.
