A beautiful home with an awesome lake view. A place of relaxation. The hosts were magnificent. Had a wonderful sisters weekend there. Beautiful outdoor lake dock with table, chairs and hammock. A lovely outdoor dining area to enjoy our meals we fixed with the use of the kitchen. And for a fun night, enjoyed playing some pool together.

Jan and John are gracious, friendly, and accommodating hosts. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best it can be. We felt like we had known them for years by our third day! We biked the New River Trail, and they shuttled is to our starting point. Breakfast's were great. They offered us wine/beer on our first night.. complimentary of course, because that's the kind of people they are. They have kayaks, paddle boards, and a paddle boat, which you are welcome to use at your leisure. We saw an outdoor live actor play at the Barter Theater in Abingdon, VA, on their recommendation. On our last day, they offered us a ride in their 1969 Evinrude motor boat, which was super fun, and in incredibly good shape for it's age. If we're ever back in the area, we'll be staying here, no doubt about it.

We were trying to find a quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary and came across this amazing, and local, B&B. The owners are easy going, and the hospitality and breakfast is top notch. We especially enjoyed playing in the water with their paddle boards and paddle boat. It was a blast! We would highly recommend it!

Lovely and welcoming hosts, squeaky clean and comfortable room, home made breakfast with fresh fruits, peaceful and idyllic surroundings. The only regrettable thing is that we couldn't stay there for a couple more nights!

Had a great time. John and Janice we're welcoming and gracious. We will be back when we have more time for sure. The house was beautiful and warm. Lovely spot.
