Food was pretty good. Our main server wasn't to attentive but the male server was. Good portion of food not over exaggerated portions like other mex restaurants. Will come back again

First time here, place is rustic modern, with good vibes, exibin Mexican most famous singers from the Golden era on the walls, and Mexican decorations,. Service is good and helpful, food is good with good portions, prices between $12.00 and $25.00 for meal, definitely a place to enjoy a good traditional modern meal, very please with this place

What a great place, we flew in from Mexico & we felt like we didn't get enough Mexican food. So we came here & this place did not disappoint. We got chilaquiles, machaca and eggs, and huevos divorciados, and two cafe de hollas 😋 I got the huevos divorciados & would have liked them a bit spicier, but that's just me. The machaca and eggs might have been a little dry according to my husband, but delicious. The portions are pretty big, we took some chilaquiles home. The place is super welcoming & I loved all of their attention to detail. Great place to enjoy a wonderful breakfast.

Not pictured here, my son got "Silence the Child" which comes with scrambled eggs, French toast and the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had.
My boyfriend got chilaquiles with machaca and I got the "divorced eggs" pictured here.
I loved how in both our meals the tortillas were soaked in their delicious sauce but remained crispy.
The tres leches French toast was the same. I was afraid itd be too soggy but they were just right.
The only set back for me was the coffee. Im already not a fan of cafe de olla but my boyfriend and I agree it's too sweet here. I rejected it immediately as I'm used to no sugar in my coffee but he was ok with it.
Definitely recommended the meals we had though.

Two of us visited the Harbor City location for brunch on a Sunday. The place was busy but with a couple of tables available (including two two-people tables). We were told by the only host/server/busboy that it would be a few minutes wait. Not a problem. However, he was the only one manning the front of the restaurant. Poor man was running around all over the place. We left after waiting for ten minutes to be seated. We were still the only ones waiting and by then more tables were available. But, the one-man-show employee had not had a chance to clear them out. It was evident that it would take a while to order and get our food. It was a shame because other people's food looked quite appetizing. We like supporting new and small businesses in the area, but at least have more than one person working the front during the busiest times of the day.

Love the food and atmosphere, but I live within walking distance of the Harbor City location, and the reason for the 1 star review is due to that fact. Why isn't the PV north location on Google maps, sucks making the trip thinking both locations should hang the same business hours... but they don't. Please rectify this issue.

Loved the food felt like I was at home. Despite just 3 people working, the service was great. The guy taking our order, was nice. Definitely recommend.

Food was delicious, chilaquiles a bit spicy but that’s okay for me. They were not stingy, large servings. Only couple minutes away from LAX. We stopped to get breakfast before our flight out. 10/10 recommend
They did have one server which seems to be the norm per previous reviews. Seems like alot of work for one person but service was decent.
Also parking is to the left side of the building in the little parking area. Don’t be like me and drive up and down trying to figure it out.

Almost forgot! My only complaint would be the chairs. It’s most definitely a personal problem but I have a wider mid area and the chair was tight! I got through it but my sides were hurting.
