One of the few places with nitro cold brew I've found in Cali in a week. Real wait great service (Cameron was delightful, she took her time right at closing to show us the roastery and even let us sample a newly roasted variety). Great coffee, really great vibes, and really really great staff.

Exactly what you would expect from a coffee roaster. Great cup of coffee, the food pairing was really good and the space itself its really chill. You get to see where they roast and their store is nice. In front there is a park where you can take a nice walk with or after your coffee. I would totally recommend it for coffee lovers.

Overall the coffee is really good if you actually enjoy the taste of coffee, but if you like the overly sweet coffee drinks then this may not be your place.

I got the vanilla latte and it came out good! It was pretty earthy which I didn’t mind, but isn’t something I particularly enjoy when drinking coffee. I opted to pay extra for the macadamia nut milk since I’ve never tried it, so this may have provided the different flavor to the coffee I wasn’t expecting. Overall I still enjoyed the coffee ☕️

The gentleman working here today was very polite and patient, he didn’t seem to mind helping me choose an item since I haven’t been here before. My coffee was made fairly quickly and I didn’t have to wait long at all.

Ambiance: 10/10
Not a lot of seating, but enjoy for a small crowd. Some of the chairs are very low to the ground, so not good for people with bad knees. But they have three tall chairs and outside seating that would work for people. Very clean and quaint, they also have some coffee related goods for sale.

The only thing that will keep me from coming back is the price. It’s only one size of drinks and mine cost $6.50 and is pretty small. I hate to complain because I know small businesses don’t have the luxury of lowering their prices. The quality of the coffee and service will make me consider coming back when I want a real cup of coffee over the overly-extra drinks at other establishments.

I truly enjoyed their iced latte and chocolate cookie. They are “coffee specialist” and they really are. Their espresso was so smooth I think I found my new favorite roaster👍
I usually buy green beans and roast my coffee myself but this place is seriously awesome.
I saw some people complaining about seating etc but this isn’t your typical coffee shop of “I’m here to study for whole day with a cup of coffee”. You go there and enjoy your coffee.

I discovered Common Room coffee while dining at Nicks in Laguna Beach. I ordered a decaf coffee for breakfast, and it was the best decaf diner-esque coffee I had ever had.

I asked the waitress to find out which coffee they were serving, and that’s when I learned it was Common Room! Shoutout to Nicks for serving this great coffee. So, I recently ordered some online, and I have been so so pleased with the freshness and taste of the coffee. The coffees also come with these adorable cards that explain more about the coffee & roast.

I very much enjoyed both the coffee and staff at Common Room Roasters. The customer service was wonderful, I could tell that Grayson (sp?) genuinely enjoyed interacting with the guests. I have been a loyal patron for years dating back to when they opened in Newport Beach and it is no surprise to see this place gaining such a loyal following.

The coffee was good and I particularly enjoyed the long black. The space is fantastic and lends itself to being able to enjoy your drink. Bravo Ed and team, wonderful job!
