Right near the highway, 2 miles from a huge shopping mall and lightrail system. The staff like other reviews have said, WAS AMAZING! Rooms are actually pretty big for the price. And they got free wifi. Also there is a fantastic Chinese restaurant right next to it call Egg Roll Kimg, with great food that is reasonably priced. Honestly, I was very pleased and again the staff was absolutely amazing. 10/10 if I'm looking for an easy place to stay without braking the bank this will be on my mind.

The main concern would be the overall cleanliness. Parts of the floor in the room didn’t look like they had been mopped in awhile and the second night there were some tiny roaches in the bathroom. The next concern was the condition of the sofa bed “mattress” you could visibly see springs and my poor sons had to sleep on that and reported it hurt. 😞 Thankfully the actual beds had a fairly nice pad on top of the mattress that made it comfortable. The sheets were very thin and there wasn’t really a comforter just another thin covering, which was disappointing. The room was nice a cool, which made the thinness of the bedding less desirable but made for a good sleep temp.

The hot breakfast was fairly decent and the lady working it worked hard to keep things stocked and clean on a busy Saturday morning.

None of the staff really seemed all that personable they seemed they were just merely working to get paid not to truly serve the customers. So I don’t know if that is just who is available to work or if there is a lack of motivation and incentives from management.

Rm 323. Sink handle fell off, toilet tissue holder broke, tiny bathroom with a narrow tub. Lightweight blanket, difficult to access Wifi, very worn out sofabed, wanted my wife's driver's license even though I had pre-registered and have a hotel rewards card! Room was clean and quiet, quiet HVAC. Very good breakfast with potatoes O'Brien, sausage, eggs, white bread only, weird syrup. Fast and soft hot water, poorly maintained hotel that we'll not stay at again (we've stayed before). If you're looking for a cheap room, this one is so-so.

The lack of breakfast. There was no juice and they did not have coffee in the breakfast/lobby during breakfast on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. There was no breakfast attendant Thursday or Friday. Breakfast items either not filled or ran out. When asked to speak with the General Manager we were told they quit the week before. The breakfast attendant was on vacation. This looks very poorly on the district manager not covering or making sure there was coverage or inventory was not taken. Our family was there for a block and had to purchase carafes of coffee for our group. The coffee makers even on the third day cleaning was not replenished in the rooms. The hotel next door also had family staying there at a comparable price with coffee and juice and a better selection. Also the air was off in our room at check in and they had 100 degree temperatures outside and took hours to get the temperature comfortable. The fridge temperature was also warm. We put our diabetes medication in the fridge and didn’t realize until later. Had to get in the floor with my phone flashlight to adjust the temperature.

Location was great, price was fine, free breakfast was fine, and we were surprised by an upgrade to the Presidential Suite, but...

The king-size bed frame had a steel flange sticking straight out from the frame about 2-3 inches...just right to cut an ankle or worse. It is an unpleasant surprise and definitely hurts when you hit it with your ankle. And there were other issues with the frame. I let the desk clerk know. Next morning, the clerk said she had notified maintenance and they "... were working on it." Not sure I believe that since no one showed up to work on it during our stay, Guessing it may have been and will probably continue to be an issue for some time unless someone takes charge. Also, we spilled a bit of water on the floor. Used a towel to wipe it up. The towel turned black from the dirt. Makes one wonder when the last time the floor was mopped. I've been staying at Choice Hotels for 20 years or more. Getting less enthusiastic about it as I see the properties aging and, sometimes, not as well maintained as they used to be. Thank you. I think the hotel is declining. We’ve stayed at that hotel since 2017 every year. I do not like that they change towels and linens only on the third day. I felt the sheets and pillows were flimsy and the top cover of the beds were dingy and dirty. They need a good washing. There was a pack and play in the second floor hallway left for two days that nobody picked up and the hotel did not clear it out. I had to tell the front desk about it. A tripping hazard. Bathroom was ok but sink handle was loose and hard to adjust. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs every day, along with sausages and either sausage gravy or fried potatoes. You can still make your own waffles and juice from the machine and cold cereals, bread, bagel, muffin, etc., coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby. However, the front desk in the evening after hours, the person was awesome! Anything we needed he was able to give us, fresh towels or sheets, and even a few plastic utensils when we had takeout. I might get another place next year when we go back to Littleton.

Great location but that’s it. The room was dirty, sticky light switches, sticky black finger marks on the hair dryer. When we asked the staff to clean our room, they said they would but it never happened. Smoke alarm was wrapped in a plastic baggie. (in the room). I’m pretty sure it would not have worked?
Breakfast was less than desirable. They had bread but no butter, jam, peanut butter etc.
Sorry Comfort Inn at Highlands Ranch - things need to improve a lot before any of our family and friends stay there again.

The hotel is clean and serves a good hot breakfast. The location is perfect for what I plan to do while in Denver. I liked the living area with a couch, 2 ottomans, desk and chair with a tv on a swivel. The night stands, desk and lamps are fitted with lots of power outlets and USB outlets.
