We stayed here based on the convenient location and the many positive reviews. It was a great decision in every regard. The property itself shows none of the signs of age or deferred maintenance so often seen in budget-priced hotels. The room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was hot and tasty. All in all, an exceptional experience. Would highly recommend.

The price was significantly lower than the other downtown hotels I looked at. My room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. They allowed me an early check-in and also stored my bags for me after I checked out since I had a few hours before catching my train. The staff were friendly. It's a good location within easy walking of downtown, restaurants, breweries and the Kiggins Theatre. The breakfast had a couple of hot items each day, like scrambled eggs/sausages or bacon/fried eggs. Also had the standard waffles, cereal, muffins, breads, yogurt, etc. Room had a fridge and microwave. Bathroom was large and had an exhaust fan. One thing to note, I stayed in a room with 2 queen beds which was a good size for me. However, I think the room was small if you planned on having 4 people in there. So, if you are looking to bring a group, you may want to book a larger room.

At 64 years old I didn't know I could do the splits until I stepped into the tub. Slick! Then I noticed the convenient, neatly rolled up shower mat right in front of me. 🤣 I'll do better next time. Nice shower pressure btw! 🚿 Altogether I had a very comfortable stay, cozy bed, tons of THE BEST pillows ever, slept great! 😴 Abby checked me in and was an absolute sweetheart, 💕 so was Andra at checkout. 💕 Thanks Comfort Inn, and thank you for reminding me to stay limber - very important as we age.. 😉 🤸‍♀️

This property is by FAR the best. They have special touches/amenities like cocktail glasses in your room to cookies when you check in.

The place has been remodeled and it’s beautiful especially the Foyer ; the natural wood is really Impressive.

Most importantly, the Service I received when I checked in by Abby was the absolute best. I cannot say enough about Abby. And trust me first impressions and how you’re treated when you check into a hotel is really important and Abby was the Ultimate professional with a genuine smile and attitude that really went along way with me. Thank you Abby for making my stay of the best. I’ll definitely be back

Even changed us to a 1st floor due to medical conditions. Steakhouse near by with great food.

We tried to stay here during a power outage after a storm, but had to leave immediately after checking in. We misunderstood their "pet friendly" policy. Which is actually just a dog friendly policy. I told the front desk person clearly while checking in that I had a cat, but she was talking over me during all of my interactions with her and wasn't paying attention. I understand the initial error was mine for not scouring the website for fine print, but the lack of empathy and outright hostility from the front desk person while we were in a stressful situation was completely unwarranted.

On top of that when we initially checked in we were put in a lower-tier room than what we booked and paid for. The front desk person later tried to claim we went into the wrong room. We went into the room she assigned us to and that our keys opened. I don't appreciate being blamed for someone else's mistake. Is she implying the keys we were given could open any room? Because that's the only way we could go into the wrong room. Also, the person working did not know how to process our return. This was all so chaotic and it really didn't need to be.

Positive: Great staff, management was awesome, breakfast was tasty every day and even had bacon a couple times. Negative: The neighborhood is a little rough. But the hotel felt very safe.

After moving my sister out of an apartment and preparing to move out of state the next day, spend the night here. At first it was a bit of a comedy of errors.in our first room the tv did not work so the night manager moved us, upgrading our room to 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles. Then in the second room, we got the tv on but then it went to no signal. I picked up the receiver on the phone to call the front desk but got no dial tone and discovered the phones was not plugged in. Went to the front desk and the manager was able to fix the tv issue. The phone problem could wait until the next day. The room was very comfortable overall. Beds were on the firm side. Comphy pillows!
