My stay was just overnight but it was one of the best hotel stays I have experienced. Great location as right off freeway exit. Many restaurants & shopping within walkable distance. Felt very safe. Pleasant & accommodating front desk personnel made check in smooth. Keys worked when opening door. Many times I have experienced a key not working and had to trek back to check in to correct situation. Very inconvenient. Front desk had advised of complementary water & snacks in room. Very considerate. Room was clean and updated. I asked for another blanket & pillow, no problem. Bed was comfortable & firm but not too. Plenty of outlets to plug in devices. Complementary internet. I, however, had a problem logging on but it was my own mistake. Wi-fi password is noted with room # on key paper holder. A few thoughtful conveniences in bathroom: dual sided magnified mirror, safety handle bar in tub/shower & a bath mat to prevent slippage in tub. The last two were sooo appreciated! Finally, a free breakfast is included.|The walls were a bit thin as I could hear voices (crying baby) & a bit tricky to enter building due to cars backed up for close restaurant drive through service are about the only inconveniences I experienced. Nothing is perfect! Great place! Recommend highly.

I stayed at Marriott in Escondido called Springhill. That was not a good experience. It was full of children running in the lobby and screaming, the place was like a romper room. I am extremely quiet and I like quiet. I’m re-launching my book and going to move towards getting the rest of my manuscripts published. I have editing and writing to complete. The comfort Inn provided a nice desk, good room lighting. The balcony was awesome. The place is quiet. The pool was wonderful. I was in the pool with one other adult. No screaming children. The staff are friendly. Housekeeping was on target. Thank you for my enjoyable stay.

We had a great experience staying here for 2 nights. Complimentary waters and snacks. Good service! Rooms are maybe a little run down (4 stars for that). We didn’t utilize any of the other amenities during our quick stay so that’s all I really have to say. This hotel is in a really nice place and close to many many stores, places to eat, gas stations etc. Very close to the I-15 entrances as well. We’ll probably stay here again when we come back into town.

My family and I were thoroughly impressed with our one-night stay. The check-in process was quick and effortless, thanks to the friendly and professional front desk staff. Our room was cozy, with comfortable beds and pillows, and the bathroom was immaculately clean with fresh, white towels. The breakfast buffet, which started at 5:30 am, offered a diverse selection of options. We would definitely return.

We LOVED staying here! I called directly to book a room. I asked if we could check in early & they said no problem. Check in was really easy & the person who checked us in was very friendly. We were delighted to find complementary water & snacks in our room. The room was very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful! The fresh fruit surprised me — watermelon, pineapple, honey dew melon, so delicious! We were fortunate enough to get a late check out as well. The location is great! It’s right off the freeway & surrounded by so many restaurants & shopping possibilities!! We will definitely be back!

I stayed at plenty of comfort inn and suites but this is the best property I’ve stayed in very clean rooms my favorite is they have a full style breakfast and it is close to everything easy access on/off the 15 freeway very close to numerous shops and restaurants and gas stations within walking distance so this location is perfect and the staff and housekeeping services were top notch and very courteous. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to SD

I stayed for three nights in a spacious and comfortable room. I was traveling solo but appreciated the balcony and the king sized bed, which came with a choice of soft or firm pillows (I'm one of those who hugs a soft pillow while using a firm pillow for my head).||My absolute favorite part was the complimentary breakfast. There was a good variety of choices, from cereals to fruits to waffles to bagels to pastries to scrambled eggs, potatoes, and my personal favorite, biscuits and gravy.||So what kept me from a five-star review? The hotel is very clean, but the stairway is a bit worn, along with the upholstery on the chairs in the breakfast room. But otherwise, I would stay here again if I found myself in Escondido.||By the way, I was visiting relatives for a wedding, so I had more than enough food. But this hotel is right next to an In-N-Out, a Raising Cain's and a Chipotle.

This is a wonderful hotel with friendly staff, comfortable beds, and centrally located to several different places to eat within walking distance. The hot breakfast was delicious and had a good variety of options. Would definitely come back and stay here the next time I come back to the San Diego/Escondido area.
