Stopped here for dinner on way back home to Cleveland OH. Very clean, old school Italian restaurant - charming, vintage 1970’s decor with beautiful photo array of founders & generations of family. Food is definitely original recipes - simple menu options with decent amount of selections. Garlic bread was fresh, soft & delicious. Our table has house, cheese & antipasto salads to start. House vinaigrette & ranch dressings a must to try. We had for main entree’s spaghetti with meat sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce & meatballs + veal scallopini. Meat sauce was good but meatballs even better. The veal scallopini is made with red sauce & peppers not the expected wine sauce, mushrooms & capers. The staff is exceptional! Our server a young lady was a delight - made us feel welcome gave great suggestions & attentive. Many tables full but we were able to get table easily. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Sat in hallway because I was by myself, took a long time for someone to wait on me, finally waitress came she was very polite and nice ordered Deluxe Spaghetti she brought my salad and garlic bread salad was ok just lettuce and tomatoes, garlic bread was really salty could not taste any Garlic on it? I waited almost ah hour for my Spaghetti and when it finally got there the cheese on top was burnt she told me if I wanted the kitchen would make it again? why would you send burnt food out if you knew you over cooked it? I took the plate they brought me because I didn’t have another hour to waste waiting for another order scraped the burnt cheese off and tried to eat it the noodles were soggy and over cooked like they had sat in water until they were served will not be back The old Colombo’s is gone sad because I really enjoyed the other times I had been there 😢

My girlfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday. We got right in and had no wait. The Antipasto and cheese salads were incredible!! The garlic bread was very soft and had just the right amount of garlic. For entrees I got the cheese manicotti and my girlfriend got the Chicken Parmesan.Both dishes were very flavorful and hot right off the stove. The portions were very generous and we both had to take a box home. Our waitress Lilli was superb, always making sure we had drink refills. The prices and quality blow Olive Garden away. Jimmy Colombo's is now my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. I will definitely be back.

Overcooked spaghetti (too soft). Dinner took 90 minutes: half of that was waiting for the server to (a) take our order after getting drinks and (b) take payment after she brought the bill. I like family-owned local places, but this one lacks attention to details. Dessert was very good, and they brought plenty of bread.

Great atmosphere. Old school Italian. Pizza was very good. Issue was the veal scaloppini. It was a complete red sauce scaloppini, more like veal parmesan without the cheese. See the attached photo. It was ground veal covered in spaghetti sauce it seems.
But the pizza was very good, salads were decent.

Its our first time ever eating here and the food is super amazing. Our server was great/helpful and professional. This is like real italian food here with great quality of olive oil and cheese that they use. Their sauce is not heavy and thick at all which makes it even better and authentic. My husband and i are amazed and its good to see an italian restaurant around that we actually like. We definetly will come back

Don't let the brick exterior fool you; this place is a lovely Italian restaurant. Fancy enough for special occasions, with prices good enough to bring the whole family. I recommend you give it a try, and enjoy some delicious Italian meals. "Taste of Italy" was great.
