Coffee Girl holds a very special place in my heart. It is by far my favorite coffee shop of all time. I go there every time I am on the north coast, not even specifically in Astoria, on the north coast in general. I ALWAYS end my trip with a coffee and treat from Coffee Girl. Their coffee, teas and Italian sodas are always excellent. The pastries and other treats are all home made and absolutely delicious. There is always something new! My all time favorite menu item is the Bagel and Carrot Lox. I have tried to recreate it at home, but it just isn’t the same. It so wonderful to grab your drink and treat and go sit out on the dock and watch all the boats and wildlife move by. It’s equally as relaxing to sit inside on a rainy day and enjoy the ambience. Wandering around Pier 39 in general is so much fun! Coffee Girl is an Absolute MUST if you are visiting Astoria!

Best scone I’ve had in a long time. This historic cannery space has been converted without losing its rough charm. Recommended by a local and whole heartedly endorsed by a wanderer just passing through!

Located on an old cannery dock, this coffee shop can be described as rustic and old timey. You can sit outside and hear the majestic yarps of the seals.

Service is friendly. A pup cup was offered. The inside of the cafe looks comfy.

I can’t speak for the coffee since we ordered tea, but the views and atmosphere were worth going.

Hands down, our favorite place to sit and enjoy coffee! The vibe is historic chill (if that makes any sense), coffee is perfection, food is delicious and the scenery is breathtaking. Mix that with fantastic Customer Service and it’s worth the wait every single time!

Inside, you’ll find rich, velvety coffee brewed with care and a view that takes your breath away—the Columbia River stretching endlessly, dotted with fishing boats and gulls calling overhead. The Coffee Girl feels like a warm hug on a misty PNW morning, a place where every sip tells a story of the sea. This isn’t just a coffee stop; it’s a moment to savor and let the heart breathe.

A must stop! It gets quite busy, so come early or sit outside for a view of the river. The lox was generous on the bagel, and the atmosphere can't be beat!

I’m fortunate to come to Astoria 4-5 times a year for work, I usually always stay at the Hampton. I always go to coffee girl in the morning before work. I order the same thing every time. Breakfast panini and coffee, sit by the window look at the ships in the Columbia river. Today there was a rainbow!

Lovely, quaint coffee venue on a pier. We experienced friendly staff, delicious food, and great coffee! There were awesome views of the water and ships from inside, however there is also ample viewing space from the pier outside with chairs and tables to accommodate. 100% would recommend! Seems to be a long time staple in the area with historic ties to the fishing and canning industry.
