This is a hidden gem of Wisconsin. It is a beautifully decorated and historic place to stay. The home is CLEAN top to bottom and a feast for the eyes! You could spend all day just looking at all the antiques and unique woodwork in the home! The kitchen is amazing with the appliances, cabinets, and plumbing fixtures!!! The breakfast was awesome and Mary Lou will basically make anything you want. She is a gracious host and an amazing person!!! Plan a trip to the B&B and if you have time you can enjoy NW Wisconsin too. Cobblestone B&B is more than a Bed and Breakfast, it is a destination!

Mary Lou is an amazing, sweet, kind, and very accommodating lady. It was like visiting my lovely grandmother. We felt welcomed. Her breakfast is beyond excellent. Her little gift shop is cute and priced fair. Her house and yard are adorable and lovely. I wish I could visit every week! 🩷

The Cobblestone Inn Bed and Breakfast is a delightful and enchanting establishment. The rooms have everything you need for a dreamy nights sleep, plus so much more. Each room is full of whimsical items that add to the theme of the room. Our bed was not only lovely with the beautiful duvet and decorative pillows, it was very comfortable.
MaryLou, the owner/ innkeeper, is a gem. The Inn, inside and out, reflects her love of what she does. The grounds are beautiful with flowers,plants, and gathering spaces everywhere.The front porch is romantic and a nice space to sit outside with coffee or a cocktail. There are cozy common areas inside where you can play a game, read, and visit as you enjoy a snack or beverage from a great selection offered. In the backyard is a sweet giftshop with a great selection of gift items for yourself of those on your gift list.
The highlight of our stay was breakfast! MarylLou is a wonderful cook and puts a lot of love and pride into her cooking. She goes to the local farm market and buys the freshest fruits, local maple syrup, and freshly roasted coffee.The three mornings we were there, each day had a different menu. We enjoyed fresh fruit parfaits, with peaches,bananas,raspberries and melon, yogurt with granola, eggs cooked to order, blueberry pancakes, rosemary potatoes, French toast with real maple syrup, homemade poppyseed muffins and my favorite,eggs Eggs Benedict. Her hollandaise sauce is the best!
We enjoyed our stay so much. The Inn surpassed my expectations in all ways. I highly recommend The Cobblestone Inn B&B.

Thank you Mary Lou for graciously hosting our large family who occupied the entire Bed and Breakfast. We were there for a wedding on Stout's Island. Our little group - grandparents - daughter and son-in-law, and four-year-old granddaughter stayed in the downstairs lodge. Mary Lou has appointed it to be a cabin-lover's dream with so many details we would need to return to appreciate them all. Second, the space was spotless - no small feat. My husband and I stayed in the Gone Fishing Room. So darned perfect and charming Bed was comfortable, sheets were embroidered with canoes at the hem. Mary Lou is justifiable famous for her breakfasts. And don't get me started on her garden - gorgeous! She is an artist! Thank you!

We we're going on a side by side ride with friends in the Birchwood area. Parking was not a problem which was a plus for us.|We stayed here. |We booked the Ladies & Gents room and it was great for us. I ask for another pillow because two of them were feather pillows on the bed and I can't use them. Marylou happily found one for me. The bathroom is small but the shower had great water pressure. The bed was comfortable, the room was a little small but the old time fan was great!! ( yes she has central AC) We stayed 3 nights.|Breakfast was made fresh each morning including fruit from the farmer's market. Each main course was different one morning french toast & sausage , then eggs Benedict then bacon and blueberry pancakes. Marylou was a wonderful host. |If we're ever back in that area we would stay again.|P.S. she has two cats London and Paris they aren't aloud in the rooms and she has that on her website but I like cats so no issues here.

Mary Lou runs an absolutely outstanding BnB that is full of more quaint charm than you could ever imagine. The rooms are comfortable and full of personality, and every detail, from robes to snacks to entertainment has been thought of. I didn't get to experience the legendary Cobblestone breakfast because of the scheduling changes to the Birkie this year, but breakfast was still great, and Mary Lou and the other guests were wonderful to sit and chat with. This place is a really wonderful welcome to the North Woods and was a big part of enjoying my first Birkie experience.

We spent two relaxing nights in December at Cobblestone. Mary Lou was very welcoming, especially since we arrived a day early! Our room was small and cozy and the copper tub was a treat! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and dietary needs were accommodated. Mary Lou seems to be a Christmas lover, and decorates accordingly, both inside and out. We did a lot of Christmas shopping in the charming towns in the area. It was a great get-away!

Quaint little spot right in town. All kinds of odds and ends and a cute little shop. Mary Jo is the host and makes a wonderful breakfast for all every morning. Wakes us up with fresh coffee every morning. It's not your normal hotel room, but I think that's why I like it.
